Best Water Dripping in Charlotte NC

I had 2 companies turn down the job, and 1 come out to say that they could not turn off the water to the unit or building in order to replace the ancient Sloan Flushometer from wall to toilet. I then called Queen City Plumbing; Fernando came out on time, gave a reasonable estimate and found the correct water shutoff in the crawl space despite what the other company had said, and successfully replaced a mid-century flushometer completely with a new one with no issues. Very professional and reasonable. Would recommend.

In all projects, Thomas communicates well before, during, and after the job. Thomas' work is of excellent quality, finished in the timeline he committed, and is of great value. This is my second experience with Chris at Fatman and he didn't disappoint! He is very professional and friendly, but more importantly, works like it is for his own home! He helped me transform an old buffet to a bathroom cabinet with a vessel sink. I couldn't be happier! He will be coming back in the future to help with other bathrooms I am remodeling! Called to offer work and before I could even tell him the location he hung up.

I called Payless to get a quote for replacing my sump pump that began failing while I was at work. The employee I spoke with said they would get someone in contact with my wife and over to the house to get a quote generated. They spoke with my wife and set up the appointment to look at the pump. After looking at the pump and not performing any other services, they demanded my wife pay $70 for them coming out to generate a quote! At no time during my phone call or hers did anyone from Payless say they were going to charge $70 just to generate a quote!
I've used dozens of contactors over the years and never had one charge a fee just to generate a quote for the actual work. Oh and their consolation was that if we used then for the service they would deduct the $70 from the cost of the repair (like you're dealing with a car dealership).
Consumer beware, this is a very shady business with hidden fees that no other contractor charges!
