I had a leaking pipe on my water heater - the technicians that came out were Barney and Reece. They quickly identified the root cause and made sure to explain and fix the deeper issues that had led to the leak in the first place. The fix was done quickly and in even less time than the estimate, and they threw in some new home owner advice for free. Would recommend.

We were very satisfied with WMF. The professionals who came got there on time, they were good and we didn’t have any problems with them. We talked with them when they were there and they explained to us what they were going to do.

My daughter had a positive experience with this company so when my heater was getting ready to fail I decided to call them. They scheduled an appointment very quickly and Daniel was my consultant. He evaluated my house and offered options on the best furnace for my house and gave me advice as what to choose. He called to see if he could get it installed the next day and they were full but I only had to wait until the next working day. Oscar and Irvin showed up as scheduled and on time. They removed the old furnace, installed the new furnace, had the electricians show up, and made sure my furnace was up to code. They did such a great job. Oscar put extra insulation around my furnace and showed me how to work the new thermostat. He even went through the garage to make sure there wasn't any screws or debris on the floor of the garage. I was very impressed with the entire encounter, especially the great installation team.

This place is local, friendly family staff and most importantly has the products you need to make home repairs with great MSRP pricing on random item most do not stock. They were able to stock rare items, have their driver bring to the shop from their warehouse (without stocking fee), and be able to compete with the internet pricing. All the other companies in Albuquerque that may have been able to get the part inflated their prices over 150% marked and did not have it available same day. Academy Plumbing and Heating is the only place in the greater Albuquerque area that I trust. They provided knowledge and was great working with them all. Highly recommended for our family will not go anywhere else.

Cory, was prompt and came at the beginning of the service window which was great. Cory, expertly switched my system over to AC for the seasonal maintenance. He also diagnosed a line leak on my water softener, fixed it, drained it, filled it with salt and recharged the unit! Cory was also very informative about the softener and my heating and cooling system which was greatly appreciated. Cory’s service was outstanding and he’s a nice guy as well. The maintenance package I purchased last year has been worth every penny and I intend to purchase another for the coming year. The cost has risen because of inflation but is still a great value. The seasonal change over was included in the maintenance package but Cory didn’t charge me for getting my softener up and running! Thank you so much Number 1 and I hope Cory gets a donut or breakfast burrito for every time his name is mentioned in this review. Ha ha
