I began using Winters 3 years ago when we needed to have our furnace replaced. We got a bunch of quotes from a variety of vendors and ended up going with Winters. I'll admit upfront that their quote was slightly more than a couple others, but because we had received such great customer service during our initial inquiries with them and Keith was awesome about working around our work schedule to come out to the house in the evenings on a couple of occasions to do the assessment plus of some of the things they offered we decided it was worth it. The guys who did the installation did an amazing job. They were very respectful of our house, always wore booties as soon as they came in the door, cleaned up their mess every day, and even let our young kids watch them work. The system works amazing. Then this year, I took advantage of a service offer to have the furnace looked over and make sure everything was running smoothly and the guy who came out was also great. He looked everything over and said the main issue was that it needed to be cleaned but he gave me a very honest answer and said I should use our oil company because they would be much cheaper than Winters' price which I thought was pretty cool of him because he could have totally taken advantage of my naivety and done the cleaning himself for about triple what my oil company charges.

After pricing around for a water heater replacement, I decided to go with Barrell because the price they quoted was pretty much the same as what other companies were charging and they were already familiar with our building. But when I subsequently spoke with the 'dispatcher' to schedule the install, she said the price would actually be $500 higher than the original quote. Obviously I did not go through with this company doing the work. Not sure why they would quote me one price (which I confirmed on a 2nd call) just to have them raise the price by $500 when I go to schedule.

I called Alpha Omega to replace my Navient Combi Boiler. Sam responded right away and was able to arrive the same day! He was so helpful and very fast in the way he worked. His price was way better than the other two companies I tried before so I saved alot of money and frustration. Definitely will use this company again. Thank you!

Drain Stars was outstanding! I called in the morning and Andy was able to come out within a couple of hours. He used the camera to show me where the problem was in the sewer line, and he treated it then and there. He was wonderful about explaining everything. Highly recommend!

So, we all know plumbing emergencies alway happen on holiday weekends, right? Of course! We lost our hot water Friday night. Spent hours Sat leaving messages with answering services, waiting for callbacks.. UNTIL we found Jay at Aaron Plumbing, who ACTUALLY PICKED UP THE PHONE and asked detailed questions about our situation. He and his father came out the next day and took care of us. That's the bottom line: they were responsive, and took care of us. Highly recommended.

I had Velocity Plumbing come service my Baxi boiler. They were very responsive and it was easy to schedule an appointment with them. The service was thorough and done in a timely manner. They seemed knowledgeable as well. Would highly recommend!

Yakov fixed our leaky pipes in our laundry room. He was quick and efficient and we are very satisfied with the work. But while he was there, he noted that our hot water heater was 11 years old and had begun to rust! Despite it being Christmas week, he came the day after Christmas to install a new hot water heater and a shut-off valve that would block our downstairs from being flooded in case the hot water heater ever bursts. We feel like we dodged a bullet thanks to Yakov! We have used Plumbing Solutions for years and will continue to do so!
