Best Gas Furnaces in Boston MA

I had CTW Plumbing and Heating for several plumbing jobs. He did not supervise his plumbers, delayed fixing unfinishied job and sent some bills almost 9 months later for a return visit and other paid job. CTW owner Caleb did not supervised one major job that cost close to $3,000 of repairing heat pipe. His plumber left metal end caps bend and stuck out in several places. Only after I asked him repeatedlyl to send plumber to come back to fix the end caps, he sent one but still many places have loose end caps that stuck out its sharp metal edges for my rental apartment. Caleb 8 or 9 months later charged for the visit. He also sent me overdue notice for the work that was paid on the day of job again 9 month later. I provided paid receipt from 9 month ago.
He did not listen but stubborn, argumentative, and arrogant instead of straightening things out and He could not provide free services. When did he provided free service? I still have end caps that are loose and open.

Adam from McMahon Plumbing called before he arrived to do the job. He was on time. He is a very courteous young man. He was very professional, efficient and competent. We were very pleased with his work.

We were having an issue with a leaky faucet. they were able to come the same day we called. Stan was extremely nice! And was quick to fix the issue. We would highly recommend!

I recommend these guys 100%. When I call Joe the owner or the secretary that’s the beginning of my plumbing problems being resolved….every time!

My water heater gave out at midnight last night. I was at a loss of who to contact for help. Rich Mathews was the first site to come up in my google search and I am so glad it did. He had great reviews and was local. I called right away and his wife was so nice and very helpful, Rich called back in 5 minutes, we had a Face Time chat so he could see the area. He gave me a very reasonable price over the phone and within 30 minutes he and his wife were in my driveway with a new water heater. What a great guy and great company and great couple. His work is impeccable, they cleaned up after themselves and even gave me a couple of recommendations for some good restaurants. All in all a lovely couple and ultimate professionals that take pride in their work. I will recommend Rich Mathews and Sons to all of my family and friends. Never was a company more accurately named! If I could give Simon from High Quality Plumbing a ten-star rating, I would. From the start when he sent me a calendar meeting invite for the initial consultation, I knew I was dealing with a professional. Simon and his assistant, Nic, replaced a poorly installed Navien combi boiler that controls our heat and hot water when it suddenly died in the middle of winter. We'd had recurring problems with it because of the poor installation. It was a lot of work to replace, and he and Nic worked diligently to get the job done so we could have our heat and hot water back on as soon as possible.

Simon installed a newer model Navien combi boiler that is much quieter and has several new features. He also added several redundant valve shut offs to make future servicing of the system as easy as possible to keep it running efficiently. He explained what he was doing every step of the way, and why each of the components were necessary and what they did, sending links from the manufacturers so I could feel comfortable with his suggestions. He was thorough and careful in planning the system as a whole. When a stubborn problem arose with one of the components, he followed every lead to make sure it was adjusted properly.

After the job was finished, Simon was diligent in making sure that the system was tested properly and that all the valves were labeled so that we knew where the gas and water shut offs were in case we needed to shut off the system in an emergency. He had a city inspector come in to approve the work, so you know he had installed everything according to code. It was approved on the spot with no problems.

I can't say that I've ever had this good of an experience hiring a contractor to work in my home before. He and Nic were respectful, professional, and considerate. They put drop cloths down where they worked and cleaned up the space afterward. Every evening, they would make arrangements for what time they would each be arriving the next morning, and they were always on time and stayed into the evening some days. I wish I could hire them for every job needed around our house!
