Great plumber. He is the guy to use!

I had to get my hot water tank replaced. Manny and his son came first thing in the morning like they said they would. Very professional and friendly, and did a great job. They took time to explain things I should know about the tank and shut off valves, and cleaned up after themselves. Price is very reasonable compared to the other places I called.

Jim called me back the same day I called and was able to come out within a couple of days. Our steam heating system in our home was incredibly noisy and pipes would bang all over the house. Jim was able to perform a much-needed cleaning and overall service for the furnace and now our heat is silent! Will definitely call Jim for future heating/plumbing needs.

I can not say enough good things about Boston Standard and Prescott Krause. My AC blew out about three weeks ago and after multiple calls to Panasonic tech support and other providers, I had nearly given up all hope that this could be fixed. Boston Standard to the rescue! Despite being fully booked for the next week, BSC managed to squeeze me in for an appointment the same day. Prescott is the kind of repair guy people dream of -- kind, considerate, professional and solutions-focused. Not only did he get my system in full working order but he also cleaned up my pantry (bonus!) and was pure joy to have at home during a very frustrating situation. I found Rich on Angie's List and gave him a call because the reviews he had were so good. I left him a message and he called me right back and we made an appointment for later that evening. Rich was there on time and was extremely nice and informative on my extremely old boiler system, water heater and the oil to gas conversion that was going to take place. Rich then sent me a quote in the mail which wasn't the cheapest but far from the most expensive that I had received and we decided that he was the best guy for the job. Prior to starting the job my husband and I noticed that one of our radiators started leaking and another was extremely loud. Therefore, I called Rich and he came out within a half hour and remedied the problem. When he came to start the job he was always dependable and willing to answer any questions. Rich was so personable that my husband and I looked forward to getting home and having small talk with him. One Saturday he came to do some work and brought my husband and I some AMAZING scones that he gets from one of his other clients and let me just say, they were to DIE for. How many people can say that they got breakfast from their plumber and above that enjoyed having them around?! As far as Rich's work is concerned, the boiler and water heater came out beautifully, when you have steam heat it truly is an art form and Rich is quite the artist. Our basement was literally cleaner when he left then it was when he came in. Needless to say, Rich will be the guy I call with all my plumbing issues.

I sold my house a few months ago and I had to complete a final round of renovations before we put it on the market. In the kitchen we needed a kettle pot filler plumbed & installed and a gas line run for the new stove - and we needed a 2nd floor laundry room fully plumbed.

Real came to our home to give us an estimate one afternoon. He was on-time, courteous, honest - and very thorough. He walked me though every issue I had and talked me through all of the work that would have to be completed to plumb the laundry room. As a rule: I get three estimates from different contractors to get the best price. Real was my second contractor. I didn't even bother calling the third plumber because I knew that Real was an honest guy and someone I trusted. There are a lot of sketchy contractors in Mass but Real is like a diamond in the rough.

He completed everything super quickly and was able to accommodate our wicked tight schedule and work around other contractors in the house. He has a calming demeanor about him and this kept me from flipping out on some of the other contractors.

We had a few problems where Real saved the day: 1) With a tile guy who accidentally severed the drain pipe for the claw foot tub and it started raining through the kitchen ceiling below (note that the ceiling was just installed by the plasterers and wasn't even 24 hours old...). After I stopped screaming, I wiped the tears away, poured a drink and I called Real. He came over the next morning and was able to fix everything - without having to have the newly tiled floor or the new ceiling redone!! Seriously - he was such a blessing!

2) Second issue was with an electrician who didn't properly attach the new range hood and it came crashing down - onto the new kettle pot filler. I should have fired this guy several problems ago, but he was the brother of our Realtor so out of guilt and stupidity, I kept him on… Same story: I called Real in a panic - I had a new kettle pot filler overnighted and he came out right away and installed the new one. He saved the day.

Through the ups and downs with this renovation, Real was the best contractor I have ever worked with. I seriously couldn’t have sold this house without him. I wish he would move his family to Richmond, VA (where I am now) - so that I could hire him again. I highly recommend Real for all of your plumbing needs - he'll get it done - he'll do it right - and he’s honest about the price.

Frank is the best and our go-to plumber! He has a lifetime of experience with plumbing and appliances. We live in Arlington, MA. He installed our new water heater, which turned out to be a complex job, and also our Bosch dishwasher. He has also fixed the pluming in our bathroom. He is hard working, prompt and good natured. We are beyond satisfied.

Trust 1 replaced a leaking corroded AC unit in my small crawlspace this year. The original install was done in two days and we were cool all summer. They are very careful of the homeowners property. Unfortunately I had a few complications. Trust 1 has responded to my issues with CUSTOMER SERVICE!! So often a company falls short on service after the initial purchase. Trust1 sent service to trouble shoot my issues until the problem was solved. My particular problem was not easy to find and they kept at it until they found a solution. Any company that stands behind their work with service is a good company to work with. I was a distressed homeowner and they came to the rescue. Christine in the office is a pleasure to work with as well. I have one more job to set up with them at the moment and I know I can count on them.

Arrowhead Plumbing is the best in town! No need to call anyone else! And, most of the time they can get the job done in one trip because they show up with a huge truck full of every part imaginable. Even brand new hot water heaters on hand!

Grosley overcharged a customer of mine when I was Unavailable. I went by too check the work and see why it was so much. They charged over $850 for a part that cost $180 and can be changed in 30 min by any Plummer who even has half a clue but these guys must be the inventors of plumbing that's the only way I can imagine justifying the $670 an hour labor or maybe its company policy to mark up stock 600% either way these guys are crooks and would not only never recommend them to anyone but I urge anyone who has used them in the past and thought there bill might be a lil high industry standard is $100-$150 hr labor and you can look up the price of basically any parts they used on Google and get there price now add 40% and that's extremely generous. Now see how close that number is to what you paid. If its a diff of more then $150 I urge you leave a comment telling of it. There are too many so called professionals ripping ppl off who just don't know any better or are to trusting and its giving all the honest ppl a bad reputation. Thank you
