I’m always nervous when plumbing repairs pop up, but thank goodness I found Kevin Jenkins. He was courteous, prompt, and very professional. He even installed a bedet system for me which wasn’t a part of the original plan. I will definitely use them for future projects, and I highly recommend!

I have no problem at all with my current sump pump but, I purchased an emergency backup system for protection, in case of a power outage, and needed it installed so I contacted Joseph Plumbing and Drain Cleaning to do the job for me. My appointment was scheduled for a 9-12 window and the gentlemen were knocking at my door at 8:55 am. They went to my pump to assess my needs, mentioned an alternative option to the pump that I had already purchased, quoted me a price and immediately went to work. Not only did the gentlemen install my new back up sump pump but they also corrected a potential problem with the PVC pipe that was already in place. Once all the work was done, they cleaned the area of all the old pipes and useless materials. In summary, the team that came to my home was punctual, professional, reasonably priced and, I will definitely be using them for all of my plumbing needs in the future.

All I needed was the gasket changed on my dripping toilet. The bill came to $490.75! Is this a plumbing company you want to call? The first time the technician came he did not have the correct gasket. It took 5 minutes to determine. The technician did not charge me ($65 for coming and $70 for the five minutes being rounded off to half an hour at $140 an hour), yet Stevens Company said he should have! Why when he did not have the correct parts and they knew the problem? When another technician returned, he padded the time by half an hour but thankfully I had the moment of arrival from a call to my phone, and the time of departure by photographing my watch and the bill showing the padded time. Also, parts were replaced that did not need to be and I was charged. When I called to challenge the bill, Stevens Company took off a half hour because I had documentaion of the time, and a half hour from the first technician's time. I paid $350.75, an outrageous charge for a leaking gasket. No, I won't call DH Stevens Plumbing Company to fix my plumbing problems.

Their outdoor plumbing system repair was handled with precision. I appreciate their expertise in resolving the issue.!!..!!.

Great first time experience with RotoRooter! I called for service at 2:30pm and was told that a tech would be at my house no later than 4:30pm and that they'd call a half hour before they arrived. Just before 3pm I got the call that the tech was on the way. The tech, Sailo, was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient and thorough. He diagnosed the clogged waste pipe, cleared the clog, showed me where and why the clog had occurred and then snaked the line all the way out to the street to make sure the line was as clean and clear as possible. It's 4pm as I write this! So fast, very effective, and a reasonable price for outstanding service.

Plumber is DC was great. I was nervous about hiring a plumber, but I just had to. (Leaking water main valve) They made the entire process as easy as possible for me. They worked with my schedule and got it done for a fair price and finished it pretty quick!

These guys do quality work and show up on time. I used them for a DIY bathroom renovation to make all the plumbing connections. They worked around our crazy DC condo rules/parking and dealt well with the 100+ year old condo infrastructure. Our condo had special rules for no solder and they were happy to accommodate. Fabulous service from Barnes Plumbing today; so pleased that I was motivated to write a review. My bathrooms are as old as the hills and have parts that look like they came out of an archaeological dig (!) Jonny S. figured out what was needed and was able to make a very satisfactory but temporary repair last week while he tracked down parts. He came back to install them today and our 'ye olde' shower now works like a charm. And in addition to great service and expertise, it was a joy to observe and benefit from the pride he takes in his work. Considerate and neat...and willing to indulge the 93-year-old in our house with a photo; made my day TBH. I wish all contractors were like this!

It is altogether comforting to deal with a local business. They pay taxes where you do, send there kids to school locally, vote, banks, go to church, and are protected by the same police and fire departments. In other word, they have a lot in common with the people that they serve. They need and want your repeat business and because of that he will do the best job possible. And that is just what they do! Always a fair shake and quality work.
