The exit drain to our house was totally clogged. Mr. Vaiphea came as promised, cleared the drain so that we could use our kitchen and bathrooms again, replaced a plug that another plumber had left open, and gave us advice in dealing with the city agency.. He was courteous; a credit to his profession.

They were able to come out the next day I contacted them. Jonathan was professional and thorough. He made sure he went far enough and then some to make sure he got what was clogging the drain.

Do not use MH Barnes for Heat Pump Hot Water Heaters. We had them install an AO Smith water heater 22 months ago. They had promised a unit with a 10 year warranty and delivered a unit with a six year warrantly.

After six months the heat pump portion of it failed. They could not diagnose it. They sent out a junior person when it failed who knew nothing about heat pump hot water heaters. We called repeatedly for follwo up after this one visit. Barnes did not return phone calls.They did not help us with a warranty claim.

After we reached out to AO Smith directly, they helped us diagnose the failure using two simple thermometers and the software on the heat pump. AO Smith offered a warranty replacement.

I would not have Barnes do any work for us again.

They came promptly at the appointment time and fixed everything quickly and cleanly. The plumber explained exactly what was wrong and why the issue had occurred. Even though the previous contractor had left things in bad shape he was able to repair things and get them working perfectly. The price was very fair.
