I had a wonderful experience with mr super plumber . My sewer backed up and flooded my basement and I googled for a plumber and I got mr super plumber Maurice answered the phone at 1:00 am in the morning and was at my door in 35 mins cleaned up everything and snaked out my main sewer got me back up and running. Also showed me how to file a insurance claim to get re-Imbursement back for the sewage mitigation bill i paid . This company came in and truly saved us From a serious mess . Sorry but I was very disappointed with the service and price.

My main complaint is that they didn’t fix the problem and didn’t even do what they said they were going to do to try to fix it.

Beyond that, the price was absurd. They charged $120 for materials for maybe $5 worth of duct sealant (and didn’t even use enough to seal the ducts!)

They charged 12 hours of labor at $90 an hour, but the guys were here for about 2.5 hours, and most of that time was spent waiting for another guy to bring over duct sealant. I called and pointed this out and they reduced it to 6 hours of labor.

They were on-time, very nice, easy to make an appointment. I just don’t know what I got for $800.

We had an issue with our Navien tankless water that our original contractor could not figure out for months. Navien recommended Charles and Sons. Frederick arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem immediately and fixed that day with parts he already had in his van. They clearly are knowledgeable and experienced, and very professional. Highly recommend!

I had a serious and widespread plumbing issue in my condo caused in part by the faulty installation of pipes years ago. Elie and his team correctly diagnosed the situation using a hi-tech camera (which produced a video of the interior of the pipes so I could see exactly what the problem was) and set to work replacing and correctly reinstalling a large part of the plumbing tree in my ceiling. What a relief! Elie and company know what they are doing and accomplish the work for a fair price.

I highly recommend Seidel Plumbing; I have had great experiences with the company and specifically the owner Otto Seidel. Reading the prior reviews I get it..Otto is an old school DC Plumber, he can come across as gruff. But, if you can handle that, call Otto. You would be hard pressed to find a better and more knowledgeable plumber in the DC area. I have a VERY complicated sewer issue, lines tied with neighbors, overgrown tree roots growing into sewer lines that have been around for over a century, DC Water aware of the longstanding problem but unwilling to fix it. It has all of the intrigue of a day time soap opera - betrayal, hope, despair... honestly, a hot mess. The only person who was able to come in, explain the issue, and put forth a workable solution was Seidel Plumbing. Otto Seidel was on a short list of plumbers recommended off the record by a foreman at DC water who has been around for over 20 years. Calling Otto was the best decision I have made in this saga. He gave me a short term solution (install and external clean out) to stop the sewage from coming up in my basement (yes, it's as disgusting as it sounds) and charged $2500, $8K less than the nearest competitor. He offered a long term solution to repair damaged parts of the sewer for $10K, which is $45K cheaper than the nearest competitor. Best of all, he showed up the day I called and he finished the job in one day. So, to reiterate, if you are looking for and are interested in paying the premium for a lovely customer service oriented experience with friendly admin and schedulers, call Magnolia - but expect to pay 3-4X the cost of the repair for that overhead. If you want an experienced DC/MD plumber who has seen it all and can do it all who will give you a fair price and an honest days work with no frills - Call Seidel Plumbing!

They did a great job!!! I had a clogged drain and was about to go on vacation the next day. They made an evening service call and got me back in business quick!!!
