I have said it time and time again adulting is not for the weak especially when it comes to having necessary work done on your home. I had a few projects that needed to be completed and Cecilia Home Repairs made it easy to get the work done. I have had several different repair businesses come to my home but never followed up with a quote, the next would provide a quote but never answer to schedule the work and then I had some who were upfront and said unfortunately that was beyond their skill set. I was over trying to find someone but I happened to be on NextDoor and saw recommendations for Cecilia Home Repair and decided to shoot my shot and I could not be more happier that I did. Paul came out to my house when I was in serious need of help with a leak, he was the nicest guy pointed out the problems and fixed my issue the very next day. Aron and Travis did a great job of assessing the best way to plumb our Cat Genie into the laundry room sink. Thay used a special drainpipe with a dishwasher tee in the drain line for the Cat Genie waste line. They hooked up the cold-water line and used a special flexible drain trap to handle the trapping and the configuration differences from a standard u-trap.
The work is neat, clean, tidy, and not visible. This project went very smoothly from beginning to end. It cleaned up a tripping hazard, eliminated a water hose line and waste line eyesore, and made the maintenance more practical because of the increased movability of the Cat Genie itself.

I called American Mechanical over the holiday weekend with a non-emergency call. I received a call back within a timely fashion and after describing the problem was told I would be contacted by another member of their team. Within an hour I was scheduled for an appointment for later in the afternoon. At the time I wasn't home, so my wife received the plumber (Mr. Mayo) from American Mechanical and when I got home, he went over everything he had already told my wife in detail with me. We were presented with multiple quotes and recommendations and in the end we went with the best water heater solution. Thank you for being very courteous, polite, and making both myself and my wife feel comfortable with our purchase. Update: 10/11/2022 - During a maintenance check, the electrician (Jason G.) was very polite and courteous. He spoke with me about some issues he had discovered due to the age of the house and suggested repairs. He explained why he was recommending the items he had put on the invoice and explained the process very thoroughly. Again, I find that I am very appreciative of the professionalism and knowledge of the folks at American Mechanical.

I chose this businessman based on other reviews. I left a message and got a quick call back. Within an hour or so Rob was at my home. Rob communicated with me by phone about the problem and proceeded to fix an outdoor leaking pipe. I could not be happier with the quick response and informative communication. Bertolino will be my go to from plumbing from now on.

I was thinking about what to say in this review, but after reading the numerous negative reviews that have already been posted, it is not difficult to find what to say. This is a company that has little to no regard for customers. We were provided this vendor through our home warranty after having reporting a leaking pipe. When the plumber came out, he said that it was not a leaking pipe and that what we needed to do was repair the grout. I was skeptical and I asked him to remove the shower faucet plate to look at the fixture. His response was I have many years of experience and I can guarantee to you this is not a leak. Well, after a week of not using this shower, we have water coming through our ceiling onto our dining room table. When we called the home warranty company, they rebooked the same plumber. I was contacted by the plumber they scheduled an appointment the next day. They did not show up for the appointment so I called them I spoke to Jason said he was on his way running late. 15 minutes later I get a text stating the service call as been cancelled with no explanation. I tried to call them several times with no luck. TCP Plumbing screen their calls and let the answer machine pick up. Stay away from this unreliable business!!! They are so unperfessional.
