made a first time appointment and the rep ever showed up! called back the next day, no one picked up, so i left 3 voice mails, i even called again the following day, still no answer! its as if the company just up and disappeared! i wouldn't recommend at all

This is the ABSOLUTE worst experience I have ever had with a company. If I could give this company 0 stars I would. They were supposed to be coming out to fix my hot water heater for OVER a month. I spoke with the owner personally and expressed the two times the company flaked on us and he promised he would be there Monday. To my surprise a THIRD no show on us by the OWNER. I tried calling the company back and conveniently no one answers the phone. Then to make matters worse, they put the job as complete with my home warranty company when they never even showed up for the job. This company is UNprofessional and a SCAM!! Please please save yourself the time and frustration and go elsewhere.

My home warranty company schedule an appointment with TCP Plumbing & Drains to fix a leak in one of my rental properties. I received a call from TCP to confirm that they had received the work order and to confirm the appointment. On the day of the appointment, no one showed up nor I didn't receive a phone call. I left two voicemail messages and have yet to receive a call back. My home warranty company attempted to contact them to see what was going on -- and received no response. 0 out of 10, do not recommend.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! Company does not answer the phone. Schedule appointments and do not show up!! They rescheduled 4 times through the home warranty company and they never showed up. Horrible at answering phones and when they do an emergency happened or they are driving and will call back in 15 minutes and never do! What did I do in response, I called back until the phone was picked up and then they had the nerve to be mad when I have been waiting to get my issue fixed for over 2 weeks with no updates and no response!! THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS!!!!!!!

Service from TCP did not fix the problem and actually caused more damage. Contractor rushed into the issue and assumed it was an issue with drain pipe - ended up breaking T&P valve trying to remove the drain pipe. After breaking valve, suggested to just get a whole new water heater. I took his advice and ordered new water heater through them and 3-5 days later still had not heard from them - all the while not having hot water. I reached out to them and they then realized they had not even ordered the water heater yet and that the installation would not be able to be completed for 1-2 weeks after the water heater came in because it wasn't an emergency service... I decided to then have another company come out and they quickly realized it was a gas issue - not a water heater issue. He fixed TCP's damage for $25 and got VA Natural Gas out to fix gas issue. I called and cancelled the order and repair from TCP. 3 and half months later I receive a bill in the mail from TCP for the service fee after no contact or follow up at all.

I highly DO NOT recommend this company. Their service tech JASON. Is rude, impatient and does not show up on time. Our second appointment was between 12-2pm and he showed up at 1030 am making us stop what we were doing without proper notice. The first time he was an hour late. This service tech diagnosed our water heater and said that the water heater was leaking and the pipes within the wall. He said he would write that all in the ticket for service. Came out to service it and only replaced the water heater. He did not connect to see if it even worked because he wanted an electrician to connect it because they don't do electrical work. We hired an electrician and he connected it. When the heater was turned on we quickly found out the piping connecting to the water heater never got fixed. We called them back and they wanted another service charge for coming out with a bad attitude saying he never said anything about the pipes before. He was upset and lost his temper when I argued that he did mention this problem before and it was never fixed. A complete scam. PLEASE do not support this company that holds these kind of business standards.

Jason was awesome to work with. He was very friendly and professional. He got the job done quickly and correctly. Would definitely use again.

To say we are beyond disappointed is an understatement. You trust your home owners warranty company and the contractors they send out to you to fix your home problems and it turns out that they just lie about situation. Jason from TCP Plumbing company came out and tried to fix our leak that we had downstairs from our upstairs shower and he did a quick fix only to have it leak again 3 weeks later. He came a second time, looked at it again and in less than 5 mins said that he didn’t know where the leak was coming from and he would have to contact the home warranty company and ask permission to get into the ceiling. He left only to have the home warranty office email us 2 wks later to tell us our claim was no longer going to be covered because the plumber said it was an improper install and he couldn’t do anything about it. Little did he know that we had his whole conversation on camera and were able to capture exactly what he said and turn it into the home warranty office to reopen our claim and send a second company. He blatantly lied about the whole situation and to say he is unprofessional is putting it mildly. Unprofessional and just plain lacking in the skill need in his “profession.” We do not recommend Jason or this company at any cost!

Outstanding Company! Jason and team are kind, professional, transparent and knowledgeable. Ready and willing to answer all questions each time. Definitely my go to Plumbing Professionals!

I was thinking about what to say in this review, but after reading the numerous negative reviews that have already been posted, it is not difficult to find what to say. This is a company that has little to no regard for customers. We were provided this vendor through our home warranty after having reporting a leaking pipe. When the plumber came out, he said that it was not a leaking pipe and that what we needed to do was repair the grout. I was skeptical and I asked him to remove the shower faucet plate to look at the fixture. His response was I have many years of experience and I can guarantee to you this is not a leak. Well, after a week of not using this shower, we have water coming through our ceiling onto our dining room table. When we called the home warranty company, they rebooked the same plumber. I was contacted by the plumber they scheduled an appointment the next day. They did not show up for the appointment so I called them I spoke to Jason said he was on his way running late. 15 minutes later I get a text stating the service call as been cancelled with no explanation. I tried to call them several times with no luck. TCP Plumbing screen their calls and let the answer machine pick up. Stay away from this unreliable business!!! They are so unperfessional.

I was a little worried reading other reviews but Jason was great. He got us scheduled in a timely manner, called and gave us updates on his arrival times, and made sure he gave us all the information and maintenance schedule for our new water heater.

Definitely do not recommend this company. My home warranty provider connected me with them and I had to call twice to get an appointment. They do not answer the phone when you call. I was given a 3PM - 5{M service appointment and they did not show and they did not call to let me know they were not coming. I called the office to inquire and again no one answered the phone or returned my call. When I contacted my home warranty company they informed me TCP Plumbing had rejected the service as they do not service gar water heaters, yet they didn't bother to inform me and I had taken the afternoon off from work to be home for my service window. I requested my home warranty company remove them from their list of providers. They do not deserve a one star rating, but the review won't post without selecting a at least one star...
