I hired Mike from Accent Home Improvements to repair gutters on the second story of my home. I called and explained my problem and he offered a fair and reasonable estimate over the phone and was able to perform the repair the next day.
Mike and his partner arrived on time and did an excellent job with the repair. Thanks for the prompt and professional work. I would highly recommend his company for any home repair or home improvement job that you may need.

I needed new doors made for a Murphy bed wall unit - 12 in all. Mike manufactured, hung, and painted the doors on site. He was very professional and an experienced craftsman.

The response was fast for someone to come out and take a look at my issue, the man was friendly he worked quickly...however i don't feel he did a thorough investigation on what the issue was with my pipes/plumbing situation...my toilet handle was down (because it sticks) for 30 minutes and I get water in multiple areas of my home!? The only thing he didn't was snake my toilet to clear a blockage the repair the handle and another thing ( to allow the water to fill up in the toilet bowl). I just don't feel like in the 20-25 minutes he was there I never got a clear reason or understanding on what, why, and how this happened...a sticky toilet handle couldn't have been the only culprit. I would still recommend the company for small issues...

Have used many times in the past, before covid. Have called for service three times now, each time no one has called me back. Each time was an plumbing emergency. I guess if I had purchased the over priced service contract, someone would have responded.

I called for AC service and expected it to take a while with the recent heat we have had. I received a callback within an hour. They had someone on site within 4-5 hours. My AC was back up and at a very fair price. I had them back a few days later to install several electrical outlets. I would highly recommend Colonial home services.

We had a natural gas pipe develop a leak, which resulted in the gas company shutting off and locking our meter. Without gas, we had no stove, but worse, no hot water. This was on a Tuesday night. He came out on Wednesday, replaced to leaky pipe, and contacted the city inspector (part of the process). They came out on Thursday, and we had hot water! He did not gouge us on price and he worked really quickly. THANK YOU! I would recommend him to anyone.

We needed a plumber and the plumber we had used in the past was not available so we contacted Ali-Cor Plumbing. They arrived at the time promised and performed the work required but I was not happy with the amount of money they charged us to install a new kitchen faucet. We were changing out our kitchen faucet and we purchased the faucet to be installed. I feel that we were overcharged for the services rendered. For that reason, I would not recommend them to someone else.

I am quite upset because Betty's name is still being used and they do not honor work that had already begun in North Carolina saying they have been taken over by Atlantic and Atlantic doesn't have a NC license. This unit cost $5.300.00 and we can't get a company in NC that will take over Betty's contract. We even paid for labor & parts to be good until 2021. We trusted Betty's and want to know why they can't acquire a NC license to honor their contracts if they are going to continue advertising. Where does that leave all the rest of the people that trusted them in N.C. I lived in Newport News all my life and referred Betty's to everyone I know. I can't even get Betty's Supervisor or owner to call back to talk to them. Help somebody!
We have been dealing with this over three weeks. The water of condensation falls straight through to the duck work and pulled it down. My husband is in his 80's and crawled under the house and saw what has happened. The drain is not clogged. The water just goes straight through. We shut off the unit so no more damage can be done. We don't want to mess up our warranty knowing this. Here is a warning to all residents in N.C.
