We contracted Michael Green from Accent Home Improvement Repairs for roof repairs due to a leak that was occurring in our master bedroom. Upon contacting Michael, he returned our call promptly and provided us with a fair estimate. He is a very honest and conscientious worker. He arrived on time daily, he communicated with us every step of the way and he produced an excellent finished product in a timely manner. We will definitely be using Michael in the future for any handyman household repairs and or roofing repairs and we will recommend him to anyone we know that needs repairs. If you're looking for handyman services he is your guy.

Scott showed up at a moments notice to inspect the boiler in our Tailor shop. Long story short, we were lead to believe there was gas fumes coming from a stack. Mr. Bertolino was referred to us by our landlord. As part of his service, Mr. Bertolino did a full inspection of the plumbing at the property we rent and advised us of issues of concern. We have been having constant blockages of one toilet in the house, which is cheap substandard toilet at 1.2 gallons per flush. He fixed drainage issues, repaired a bubbling and gurgling toilet and corrected Master Bathroom sink stoppers, that had been installed incorrectly prior to our tenancy, and that were installed in a manner that prevented us from unclogging the sinks on our own. Mr. Bertolino and his assistant left the premises clean and took care not to track any debris into the house or cause a mess. They were masked the entire time and followed CDC covid-19 guidelines as they worked. We have already recommended Mr. Bertolino to friends and family who are local homeowners for all their plumbing needs.

We had a natural gas pipe develop a leak, which resulted in the gas company shutting off and locking our meter. Without gas, we had no stove, but worse, no hot water. This was on a Tuesday night. He came out on Wednesday, replaced to leaky pipe, and contacted the city inspector (part of the process). They came out on Thursday, and we had hot water! He did not gouge us on price and he worked really quickly. THANK YOU! I would recommend him to anyone.

I am quite upset because Betty's name is still being used and they do not honor work that had already begun in North Carolina saying they have been taken over by Atlantic and Atlantic doesn't have a NC license. This unit cost $5.300.00 and we can't get a company in NC that will take over Betty's contract. We even paid for labor & parts to be good until 2021. We trusted Betty's and want to know why they can't acquire a NC license to honor their contracts if they are going to continue advertising. Where does that leave all the rest of the people that trusted them in N.C. I lived in Newport News all my life and referred Betty's to everyone I know. I can't even get Betty's Supervisor or owner to call back to talk to them. Help somebody!
We have been dealing with this over three weeks. The water of condensation falls straight through to the duck work and pulled it down. My husband is in his 80's and crawled under the house and saw what has happened. The drain is not clogged. The water just goes straight through. We shut off the unit so no more damage can be done. We don't want to mess up our warranty knowing this. Here is a warning to all residents in N.C.
