Scott showed up at a moments notice to inspect the boiler in our Tailor shop. Long story short, we were lead to believe there was gas fumes coming from a stack. After thorough assessment he determined thankfully that was not the issue and so relieved! Being a holiday week I was surprised that anyone would even show up, but grateful that he did!

We reached out to Colonial Home Services for a few projects at our house, such as installing new electric outlets and replacing a ceiling light with a fan. They came out to give us an estimate and afterwards set up another appointment to get the job done. They showed up on time, the price was exactly what they said it would be and they were all really professional and knowledgeable, plus friendly and tidy. They addressed all our concerns and even helped us figure out some issues with the light switches that didn't match the outlets. We'd definitely hire Colonial Home Services again. Jim was the only call I got back on the day after Christmas. My family and I were without heat or water. Within two hours he had us up and running, with recommendation to ensure our faulty pipe didn’t bust again. He left the place cleaner than it was found. Jim was professional, informative, and personable.

The technician (Cole) came to unclog the line leading from the toilet to the sewer line. The work went very well and at a good pace. Cole was very pleasing to work with and talk to.

Was overseas for work when my roommate called me to inform me of a plumbing issue. I was able to call them and do everything over the phone and email, and have them come out and fix the issue plus a few others. However, a few months down the road one of the issues came back (turns out the new valve was faulty) and called them up and explaining the issue. They happily came out and fixed the issue free of charge, as it was covered under their warranty. Will call them again for any and all plumbing work that I may need.

I am quite upset because Betty's name is still being used and they do not honor work that had already begun in North Carolina saying they have been taken over by Atlantic and Atlantic doesn't have a NC license. This unit cost $5.300.00 and we can't get a company in NC that will take over Betty's contract. We even paid for labor & parts to be good until 2021. We trusted Betty's and want to know why they can't acquire a NC license to honor their contracts if they are going to continue advertising. Where does that leave all the rest of the people that trusted them in N.C. I lived in Newport News all my life and referred Betty's to everyone I know. I can't even get Betty's Supervisor or owner to call back to talk to them. Help somebody!
We have been dealing with this over three weeks. The water of condensation falls straight through to the duck work and pulled it down. My husband is in his 80's and crawled under the house and saw what has happened. The drain is not clogged. The water just goes straight through. We shut off the unit so no more damage can be done. We don't want to mess up our warranty knowing this. Here is a warning to all residents in N.C.
