I had bought a new LG gas range that stuck out about 8 inches from the wall because of the gas connector being an older version. I called Herb & he was out here within 20 minutes to take a look. Then he came back out the very next morning (GREAT customer service). Now my range sits beautifully flush with the wall. He did an incredible job, quick & efficient. Herb left the area even cleaner than he found it (contrary to another review I saw on here). He even took the time to explain to me everything he was doing & how my gas lines are set up in my home. The pricing he gave me was also more than fair. With everything he did here, I really feel like I got a DEAL. He is also very personable & kind. My little 3 year old just loved talking to him & playing yo-yo. You just never find wonderful service like this anymore & I am so glad I decided to go with his company. I sincerely appreciate Mr. Miller of Ali-Cor Plumbing because he simply says what he does and does what he says.
He helped us with several plumbing problems in our Chesapeake home including a hidden water leak that was tripling our water bill. He took the time to meet with city utility employees at our home to diagnose and fix our problems. Afterword, he repaired difficult/tedious plumbing work that a previous home remodeling company had covered up. When finished, the job sites were even cleaner than before the jobs began.
We are thankful to Mr. Miller and his employees for being different from the rest; that means they actually showed up on time, provided a realistic bid and completed the jobs according to the bid. He will receive any other future plumbing work from us and we will certainly refer Ali-Cor Plumbing to family and friends.

Excellent service at a reasonable price

Friday the 20th of May I called for service on my heat pump and even though I wasn't able to get an approximate time, that they would be back in touch with me. I waited the rest of that day and until about noon on Saturday before calling again and was answered by someone who could answer no questions. I waited all day Sunday, still no call. on Monday I tried to call and the phones were out of service.
I gave up and tried another HVAC contractor that was at my house in 2h hours and the job was completed in less than 30 minutes.
I will never use A-1 American again.

Service from TCP did not fix the problem and actually caused more damage. Contractor rushed into the issue and assumed it was an issue with drain pipe - ended up breaking T&P valve trying to remove the drain pipe. After breaking valve, suggested to just get a whole new water heater. I took his advice and ordered new water heater through them and 3-5 days later still had not heard from them - all the while not having hot water. I reached out to them and they then realized they had not even ordered the water heater yet and that the installation would not be able to be completed for 1-2 weeks after the water heater came in because it wasn't an emergency service... I decided to then have another company come out and they quickly realized it was a gas issue - not a water heater issue. He fixed TCP's damage for $25 and got VA Natural Gas out to fix gas issue. I called and cancelled the order and repair from TCP. 3 and half months later I receive a bill in the mail from TCP for the service fee after no contact or follow up at all.
