My wife and I moved to Wagoner, Oklahoma, 7 years ago and bought a modest, 100 year old, 2 bedroom, one bath home for our retirement place. The home had been passively renovated and we’ve continued to make improvements to the property as we’ve had the time and money to spare. Though the bathroom was in fair condition, one thing that became a concern was the bathtub. It had the usual faucet and shower provisions, but at our age, stepping into a tub to take a shower has been a worry. In fact, I took a fall on one occasion and emerged with only a few bruises, but it was a warning shot that my 78 year old body couldn’t ignore. We finally decided to replace the tub with a large, step in shower stall, so I called several plumbers and got quotes for the removal and replacement work. The winning bid was Mullin Plumbing, and I quickly learned that Mullin was also the most reputable firm in the area. They not only had their representative on our doorstep in short order, but they also furnished us with a printed quote that fully outlined the work to be done. I’m happy to report that they completely fulfilled the terms of our contract, with no additional cost, and we now have a safe, attractive shower that complements the appearance of our bathroom. My initial experience with this company was not good. I wrote a short essay about my experience, and that in turn had the management of the company reaching out to me to address my experience. After explaining everything to them, they made every effort to remedy the situation both financially and the on-site work that was done.They sent out a second plumber that had far more experience that ensured all of the plumbing was done correctly and up to code and I wasn't charged a dime for his time. In addition, they took a look at my complaint and issued a refund that took into account the overall scope of the job that was beyond fair in my opinion. After the job was done right, I had zero expectations of a refund.Moral of the story - if you have a complaint with the work that was done or what was paid and the why as to why you don't feel it was a fair price - call their home office and ask for Doug. He was the one that handled my complaint, and did a wonderful job in doing so.
