I was assured the water heater that would be installed was made in the USA. I discovered it was actually made in Mexico. We were replacing a Mexican made unit that had issues after a having it a little more than a year. I specifically asked if the unit that was being recommended was “Made in the USA,” and was assured it would be. I came home only to discover, “Made in Mexico” on the new hot water heater.
