I already had two quotes from different plumbers when a neighbor gave me Mitchells card and told me that Excellent did work in several of the neighbors houses. We did a house rework and had the old galvanized plumbing replaced. These guys did the whole thing. They finished earlier than they estimated and helped with an additional tub issue while they were on site as well. We couldn't have been happier to have this project we were concerned about get done so well and so affordable. Definitely recommend!

Brian Fletcher was on time to replace our leaking water heater and performed the job perfectly for the quoted price even though it was a natural gas heater. Others wanted more to send out a gas certified tech.I do metalsmithing as a hobby and have sweat soldered pipes before. But when I saw that a previous plumber had left a pipe with several joints showing how many times the pipe had been worked on, and it was corroded around the last set of joints, I decided to call a professional.Brian work on the installation and then suggested, but didn't push, that we replace the pipe work and add a new valve that is easier to work. He was concerned about the older joints leaking and I had to agree. It added a little bit of money, but I am so glad that we did! The new swing handle for the ballcock is much easier to use than the round hose handle we had before to cut off the water in an emergency. Even with the added expense, the total was less than what I was quoted by another company for the basic replacement.Brian took the time to show both my husband and I, who were home at different times, how to light the pilot light and explained all of the features. He even gave us information on how to maintain the water heater. He cleanup up his work area (including the leaves that kept blowing in) and was very nice. I felt comfortable having him in my home.
