I would give 10 stars if I could. We had bought a new home and the water heater went out, not only did they inspect it the same day, they installed in just a few days with better price than anyone else on the inside of our garage.

I had the pleasure of teaching Rick in AP Government while he was in High School. Rick was in the top 3% of all my students . Although I believed Rick was destined for a career in politics, he chose to pursue a career in plumbing. Recently, I needed a garbage disposal and two lift valves in my toilets installed. Rick did the job beyond my expectations in a timely and extremely professional manner. A “friends and family” discount was not required as his prices were beyond fair & well below big market plumbing companies. I highly recommend Forthright Plumbing and will certainly be referring his services to anyone in need of an honest, professional, ”Forthright” plumber. To say I’m proud of Rick of the man and career path he has chosen would be an understatement. Keep up the great work my friend!!!!

Carlos did an excellent job repairing our toilet Intetior & replacing the toilets valve on the wall. He also helped us replace some valves on an old sink that had been leaking for a while. He was on time & so professional. I would highly recommend using this company for any of your plumbing needs.

Tampa Plumbing Company provided the best customer service I’ve experienced in years. We had a significant leak in our kitchen and our tech David (who remembered us from prior service) showed up promptly and quickly fixed the leak. Great guy! Also, the price charged made me feel like a valued long time customer. Nothing but good things to say about this company!

Prior to purchasing a home in Largo, I had it inspected in order to obtain insurance prior to closing. The inspection report noted that the main water valve should be replaced. Plumbing Today was called, the plumber arrived late afternoon on July 31, 2020.
He called me and said the cost would be $567 to replace a $25 valve. I asked why so much? He responded that the book says $442 to replace the valve and an additional $125 for chipping concrete away to access the valve.
I noted that the concrete is stucco and that was ridiculous. I would call another plumber. He asked me to wait while he called his manager. He called back and said he would delete the $125 surcharge and give me a seniors discount of 5%. The total was reduced to $417 to replace a $25 valve.
The Sellers were present and told me it took him about an hour to replace the valve. They then found that he had damaged the adjacent hose bib and called him about the water leaking from that faucet. He returned and replaced the hose faucet.
I do not understand why this company gets so many good reviews. I had to have the valve replaced by the next day so I agreed to the $417 price.
It says on the invoice 30-40 MH001 Main house shutoff up to 1 or any other valve below 1...$417. I do not believe this is fair pricing for the amount of work and the materials cost. I will never call Plumbing Today again (they have offices in Dunedin and Sarasota). If you are tempted to call them, I suggest you look further for a more reasonable plumber.
