Have used H.I.P. for a number of plumbing services (including sink replacement and water softener installation) and I could not be happier. Hyram is excellent and a great expert in the field. You can always rely on this company not only for great service but honest and up-front pricing and explanations of what needs to be done. Was really stressed at first when looking for a plumbing company to complete all the repairs I needed because oftentimes these days it’s hard to find ones that are honest and don’t rip you off. I interrupted Hiram Saturday night for a main water line leak. He arrived at my residence within a hour and took care of the problem.
Dishwasher install and water heater repair. Quick, thorough, and very clear on what they were doing and why they were doing it. Would use them again.
Worst experience I've ever had with a plumber. I hired them to install a new faucet for $155. Not the lowest quote I received, but based on this company's prior reviews, I thought the higher price might be worth it. Now I am wondering if the prior reviews were fake. They installed the new faucet, and said they had discovered a problem under the sink and offered to repair that too. I trusted them as professionals, and ended up paying $240 instead of $155, but thought it was probably all for the best. However, the very next day, the sink stopped draining. Something was wrong with the pipes under the sink, where the work had been done. We've lived in this house for 30 years and never had this problem -- until this company worked on our sink. I had to practically beg them to come back and take a look at what was wrong. When they came, they said it would cost another $150 to fix the issue. The cherry on top? The plumber thought it was cool to call me Mami (no one deserves that condescension, but I'm a college professor for Pete's sake). Save your money and avoid headaches. Choose another company.
The best plumber I ever worked with. My main drain had been clogged once a year in the past few years. All other plumbers just did snake jobs to open the line without finding out why. HIP not only opened the line, but also did a camera job and recording to find out the root cause. The plumber spent almost 3+ hours with very reasonable charge. Definitely recommend its services.

I sent them a request for a price on replacing a bathroom faucet. They never replied to me
Woke up to my hot water heater leaking and the 24hr plumbing posted on the water heater itself was backed up to the following Friday. Not only was HIP able to come out the same day, they took the old non working water heater out and installed a brand new one. SAME DAY!!!
I appreciate them more than they’ll know! I highly recommend this company!
Exceptional and Honest business. That's all I have to say. I asked for a certain part to be installed and explained my problem. Others came back to me quoting me a huge job costing $700 or more. Others didn't ask me questions relating to and to help resolve my issue. It seems that the others are out to take advantage of you. I will recommend this company to anyone who I come across needing plumbing work done.

I called regarding a busted garbage disposal, causing water to leak under my sink. HIP'S PLUMBLER DID AN GREAT JOB INSTALLING A NEW TOILET, 2 VANITY SINKS WITH FACETS. HE HAD EVERTHING ON HIS TRUCK THAT HE NEEDED. ANOTHER THING I WAS PLEASE WITH WAS COMMUNICATED VIA TEXT MESSAGE WITH ARRIVAL TIME.
Very responsive team and really great service from very nice and thorough staff. He found the leak and was kind about making suggestions for long-term maintenance to prevent further problems (at no cost). I will used them again if ever needed.

A great service. When I had an emergency (a water heater was leaking and spilling water all over my garage), I called hip home service and Hyram answered my phone call right away. He explained the options to me, gave me the price and less than an hour later he was already working in my house. Hyram has brought a replacement water heater and removed my old one. In two hours the problem was solved and I could use the water. Highly recommend!

I had 2 bathroom vanity faucets that were original to my 1985 home that needed replacing. Hyram was prompt, professional and organized. It was a difficult job needing a sawzall and more. Hyram displayed a great attitude the entire time. As important this company gave me a quote before arriving and stuck to it. 4 other so called plumbing companies wouldn’t even give me a ballpark quote on the phone. I will continue to use this company and recommend them to others without hesitation!
They were quick and thorough and fixed my clogged drain pipe. Would definitely recommend.

Called to have a kitchen faucet leaked. Spoke with Hyram. He said he was pretty much booked for the day but would try to squeeze me in if possible. Received a text a few hours later saying he could fit me in. His last job for the day was running late but he kept me informed an indicated he would still make it. He stuck to his word an came fairly late in the evening. He came and did a great job. I'm sure he wanted to call it a day and address us the nex day but stuck to his word and again did a great job. Thanks.

The main shut-off valve outside of my home was not working. This valve is important because the only other way to turn off the water into my home during an emergency would be to use the county valve in the front of my home.
So, I knew just who to call!
Hyram was able to access the problem, dig out the valve, and replace the valve. He also replaced a piece of bent PVC connecting the line water to our home.

Hyriam arrived early. He was very nice and pleasant. I had two issues. He examined the first. a small drain leak, gave me a reasonable price and was ok when I decided not to do the repair as we seldom use the sink. The second was to run a drain line for the hot water heater to discharge outside . He gave me a good price. He had the tools ( a drill for block wall) and parts on the truck, and did the job immediately and correctly. HIP is my new “go to” for plumbing.

Mr. H did great work and was very helpful. Remodeling my first home and there were multiple plumbing issues from corroded drains to broken valves. For reasonable price, especially in comparison to other plumbers on thumbtack, was able to fix and replace drains and valves. Also caught a refrigerator broken valve the home inspection missed. Great price and service. Very efficient and helpful. Would highly recommend.

I’m very appreciative of the technician explaining everything to me and he arrived on very short notice. But in short - very pricey! I was charged 195 for the technician to simply replace a $20 valve. That’s $175 for about 20 minutes of labor. I know it’s the 2020’s and everything is going up but that’s insane! I wish I had done some more research and calling around.

Incredible service and attention to detail. Very honest and trustworthy. Redid essentially all of my plumbing and installed a new water heater when I purchased my home. Worked 10-12 hours straight some days on my home, and was a huge help to me as a first time home owner. Would recommend to anyone who is in need of plumbing services.
This is a great company with reasonable rates in comparison to other companies we looked at, with Hyram in particular who came out very quickly. He was professional and efficient with his work and explained everything every step of the way. 15/10 would use his services again and highly recommend him.
Hyram came out and installed a new water heater on Sunday after receiving a call from me the night before at 11:00 after discovering the water heater was leaking profusely. This was my second disaster in just the last few days. Our dishwasher quit and just had it delivered on Saturday. As I was struggling to make sure I had all the parts, Hiram said he would take a look. He actually just took over and completed the installation. We were so impressed by him that we decided to purchase a water softener system that we had been discussing. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

We really just lucked up and found someone amazing! He has installed toilets in our new home where the previous owners failed to mention or share they destroyed things and covered them up during inspections. We truly are blessed to have good help that has been responsive and keep us in the know when replacing a water softener. Hyram was able to change out a very difficult corroded shower cartridge without causing damage to the water pipes, faucet or wall.
Best plumber in all my years of home ownership!! They were professional, courteous and clean. Hyram quickly diagnosed the problem and went above and beyond to find us the simplest solution without breaking the bank! Not an easy feat for a 94 year old house!!

I am what you call your average handyman. But this time I had to call in a professional, and professional their were. Even learned something at the same time.
They were great. I had a leak from my kitchen faucet, which is a very nice and discontinued Moen. I sent a few pictures, they scheduled the work, came in very professional, clean, quick. Now my faucet is back to normal. I will definitely use them again!
He uninstalled old sink faucet in my bathroom and installed new one. He also corrected error in old installation in piping. Very nice and professional young man. I'm so happy to have found a plumber that I can trust.

Respectful, considerate, skillful and professional are the words that come to mind when describing the services at HIP home Services & Drain. I've been provided numerous estimates from various companies, but HIP came well below the others and the work was top notch! This will be my go to company for my plumber needs from now on.
Saturday I decided to pull my kitchen sink out thinking I could put the new one in on my own lol well I quickly realized I was way over my head and needed emergency assistance. My friend referred me to these guys and they came out the next morning (on their day off) to install my new sink . The price was very reasonable and they were kind and efficient and did an amazing job. I will be recommending them to my neighbors as well as using again in the future.

Steve showed up on time and helped me though a huge drainage problem caused by another incompetent plumbing company that installed the original plumbing.
Steve is VERY knowledgeable of his trade and not only fixed my problem but also performed additional work so the the problem does not reoccur. On top of that, his price was very fair.
He is now my plumber forever!!

The tech was on time, friendly and explained what he was doing and how I can prevent further clogs. I had gotten several quotes from other companies which were $HUNDREDS more for the same service. Real price for a great service. I will use them again in the future for sure!
My hot water heater broke Saturday night with water gushing into the garage. I submitted a inquiry 30 minutes later and a received a call within minutes for next day service. H was an absolute lifesaver and was extremely professional. He answered all my questions and educated me on what he was doing.

You know when plumbing goes bad - and you don’t know who to call bc you don’t know who to trust? Worried about who will gouge you, who will take advantage? Well, I called Hiram at H.I.P. based on his reviews and just got lucky. He answered his ph when I called - a good first start! He talked with me about my issue and gave me options. He was able to get to my job in a day, gave me a small 2 hour window (which was way better than the 8-1 window quoted by another company). I liked that the person I spoke to was the actual person completing the job. He showed up on time, fixed a valve and installed a new toilet. He did not leave a mess and followed up with me when he left with a short video of the completed job. I was able to pay via Zelle- a bonus for quick and easy payment. He is now in my contacts as I will 100% use him again. I highly recommend H.I.P. Home Services and repair for plumbing issues.

Highly recommend. Hyram was prompt and professional, took time to explain the entire situation, his proposed solution, and any potential issues that we might encounter before he began any work. HIP home service and drain was very quick to response about my inquiry and schedule an appointment within 48 hours. They were knowledgeable and beyond helpful in completing the work to pass our four point home inspection. Two new bathroom faucets were installed, a toilet was repaired and a leak was corrected. We will definitely be contacting and hiring them in the future for any of our plumbing needs!

Had these folks camera a main drain line to see what was causing periodic blockages. the camera quality was terrific and the locator was very helpful to understand where the lines were routed. We found the likely cause and continue to monitor since the repair would require floor and foundation removal.
