I called Clearwater recently and Simon ended up saving me thousands of dollars by correctly surmising that some very light, trickle-level flow that I had was not a leak but a different problem entirely.

Simon has expert-level knowledge on leaks and is very familiar with the intricacies of the Seattle water system; moreover he is very personable and patient in explaining the details of the detection process. I'd recommend his services to anyone.

We identified an issue with our main water line on Saturday night. Called on Sunday AM, had Andy the owner over to have a look in Sunday afternoon, and scheduled work for Tuesday. They dealt with everything (city, etc), and work was completed as expected - on time and on budget. We had water that evening. Yard looked perfect. Great service from a family company. They were quick to come out and give initial bid for a project, but upon replying twice over email and once over phone, they would not respond to further questions about the bid, such as material being used and slight adjustments to the bid (like wrong sized pipe indicated in quote). On the call they said they would get back but after a week I gave up waiting. The plumber and staff was friendly otherwise. Initial bid price seemed reasonable.
