Best General Maintenance in San Jose CA

I reached out to Evo based on a referral from a friend and they did not disappoint. We were looking for a water softener system and when I inquired about various products Martin (the owner) sent me a few different options and prices. He also offered practical advice regarding what the best setup for our specific neighborhood and needs. Once we made our decision, he was able to come and install the system within 4 days. We have had the system for about a month and love it.

From the time I called to the job delivered, it was smooth and professional. On making an appointment, it was a nice experience with the lady who answered the phone and making an appointment. The details of the appointment were immediately email to me. Their process involvement text reminder. More importantly the tech (Anthony) showed up on time. Anthony was very helpful explaining the possible source of a leak that damaged the baseboards of a half bath. He also addressed a hot water valve issue in the laundry room and provided quotes for other plumbing jobs (shut valve replacements in the house) which were promptly delivered via email even before he left.

Other plumbing companies I have tried before have either been difficult to contact or did not return calls. Worst still they did not show up for the appointment and did not even bother to reply for an update on an appointment they missed (do they want to re-schedule??).

I am definitely using Plumtree services again and recommended them based on this experience.

Great response, great & friendly service.

I called Drain Doctor around 2:30 PM the day after Christmas because our sewer line was clogged. First I was told that because of Christmas they had a lot of calls so the earliest someone could come was around 8 PM. But 2 min later they called me back because Martin was in the area and was OK to take one more job before his break so he arrived at our house around 3 PM. He first checked on what was wrong and un-clogged the sewer line. He proposed we run the camera to check on what else could be wrong as there w as lot of water / waste that accumulated under the house and we found out that parts of the line need to be replaced. Martin was very professional and as so quick to fix (at least temporarily) our problem, it was great. He was also very professional as he proposed a company to drain / dry the under the house that we need to do to protect the foundation of the house.

Flavone’s were great to work with. They were prompt in submitting a fair & reasonable bid for replacement of the HVAC system. All of the technicians were prompt, polite & knowledgeable, answering all of my questions. They left the worksite spotless after thoroughly checking that system worked perfectly. I would definitely recommend them & will use them for some upcoming plumbing work.

Called for sump pump not working. At the start, told them that I have already tried getting electric source from two outlets and the pump still not working. Charged Level 2 diagnostics and replaced the gfci outlet just to tell me that the issue is the pump failure when I told them the same at the start. They told me that this how professionals diagnose failures. Disappointing service. Could have given zero if that was possible.

Update: Called the manager of the technicians and as expected neither did they pick the call nor did they return my call. COMPLETELY TERRIBLE SERVICE.

Solar repair. Replacing faulty big box DC inverter with enphase micro inverters. One panel needed to be replaced also. Fuse team handled it well and fit it into my schedule too. Also in Santa Cruz is usually not easy to find responsive solar contractor. Thumbs up to fuse for getting it done right!

Adrain Urena and Alex came to site on time for checking out our heating and air system including the duct work in the under floor subspace and attic. Besides being very knowledgeable and professional technicians for their job, they are very polite and patient with me in goIng over the discovered issues, excellent customer orientation!

I had a clogged sink for months and finally it got to the point where I couldn’t live with it anymore. Called Cupertino Plumbing and spoke to Brandon. He sent a gentleman by the name of Danny out the same day!! Both Brandon and Danny were super professional and the fact that they offered same day service was amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

The team at this company performed a fantastic job installing my new water to air unit. Finally, my bedroom receives the air it needs to be cool all year. They worked well into the night on Thursday to finish the task. Because they are really competent and experienced, I strongly advise hiring this company.
