I needed a water heater replaced ASAP and Powers was able to help same day. Plumber David came within the timeline promised by Janet in the office and he did a professional job. We have also purchased hard-to-find parts from Powers for some older fixtures in our house. They are a great resource!

As a member of an HOA Board our property management company recommended Cass Plumbing. Since we had bad experiences with another local plumbing company in the past we decided to try Cass Plumbing.Jeff, Eric and Kevin were thorough and diligent at replacing three of our broken and leaking outdoor spigots. Two of spigots were not threaded, but welded on, and all three spigots were different sizes. Being that this is in Hillcrest, Eric was great about ordering spigots that lock to prevent the homeless from continuing to use our spigots. Jeff was knowledgeable and very experienced at removing and soldering on the new spigots and replacing the cracked water line to the other one, and Kevin (who was an apprentice) was great about assisting them and learning the trade.

Ali quickly responded to a call for a blocked sewer line. It was a much bigger job than expected, but he got us up and running. The second time was this last week. He and his crew came out and started on a Sunday and was finished on a Tuesday. Instead of Jack hammering out my Concrete slab to get to the pipes, they went underneath my home and replaced a 60 year old section of cast iron with new pipe. I’m so thankful that he once again responded to an immediate pipe failure and got us up and running.

Bill’s son came out to fix my garbage disposal - as it turned out it had something in it. He also had to remove and reseal it - so when I went to use it on Saturday morning - turned on the disposal with something in it - it started spraying water out everywhere. I called them (which they don’t work on weekends) and left a message. Not only did the disposal spray out water when in use - it leaked even when the sink was being used. So I didn’t have a kitchen sink for the weekend. So I called again before they opened on Monday morning (their hours 10-5 m-f) and left another msg - it is now 11:15am on Monday and I have not heard from them. - not very responsive, professional and at this time very poor quality in their work. The sad thing was I was referred by a friend who thought very highly of them) — I am very disappointed and hope to hear from them soon - or just bite the bullet and hire someone else. -Just got a call from Bill - will be coming between 1:30-2:30 today to fix the issue - I will keep you updated.Well his son returned and fixed the problem - I appreciated that they did come today and corrected the problem.I won’t use them again - you should decide if they are right for you. I prefer a company that has more hours, emergency phone number etc.But I will change my review stars - because they did come fix their mistake and didn’t charge me - if they had called me on Saturday after my phone messsage - or 1st thing this morning - after my 2nd message - I would have given them another chance in the future because everyone makes mistakes it’s how you go about correcting your mistakes that makes a good company - being responsive is important.
