Fixed a leak at the base of my toilet.

Having an overall awful experience with the 24 hour service from roto rooter. Two Fridays in a row I have scheduled plumbing service between 4-8p and both times they failed to deliver. The first time they sent a drain technician (after I had waited 4 hours) who had no clue how to do what was needed to fix the problem. I do not blame this on the technician as he was just going where he was sent, he was a nice guy. The second time I waited for almost 6 hours and no one showed up, I had to call them to see what was going on because they couldn't even be bothered to let me know they were running behind. I should add that they charge an extra $169 for this so-called emergency service. I would love to have them come help me during regular hours during the week, but unfortunately that hasn't worked with my schedule, so I figured I'd take advantage of these services. I understand technicians get busy, but why offer 24 hour emergency service if you cannot actually deliver this?

Pedro was very thorough and informative about everything he saw and did. He came out on short notice to replace my pump, and was ready to go and replace everything right away.

We have a private well and septic and they were able to work on it, which, if you don’t know, not all plumbers will work on wells and septic. Alan was very friendly and professional. They were super quick getting the job done and showing up on time. They also gave me a military discount which was greatly appreciate it. Overall just a really good experience and no more clogged drain so I feel like it was a win!

Ruslan and Rob did a great job on both of my projects (a stack replacement/code issue and a dishwasher/fridge plumbing install). Even my cranky little dogs liked them! Thanks for the solid work!

I called Janecky from a referral through a friend of mine. They took my call, responded to my needs quickly, scheduled an installation same day, dealt with removing my water softener, water meter and other things to get them out of the way in my compact utility room so that they could remove my 13 year old water heater which was behind all of that, then installed the new water heater. They reinstalled all of equipment back to spec and restored our hot water without any leaks all for the exact price quoted to me by phone.

Jake was great--fast, reliable, on time, friendly, and professional. In under an hour, he repaired a garbage disposal, gave me a few quick tips on keeping it in working order, repaired a leaky faucet, and determined that the problem with the dishwasher was not a plumbing problem, but rather a malfunctioning appliance part, and he referred us to an appliance repair service. Jake will be my first call for all plumbing needs from here on out.

Had a loose toilet and John did a great job showing me the parts and that they were in good shape as he opened things up. Did a great job, great attention to detail and everything works great. I also got to see the floor underneath and see that there was no water damage.

Mark came out to do maintenance on our water heater. We talked on the phone and he was able to fit us in same day which was very convenient! He was very professional, nice, and reasonably priced. We'll definitely work with him again!

Josiah did an amazing job. He was kind and professional in every way. He took the time to help us understand the process and the equipment that would be used to build a patio and fire pit. In addition, he communicated well, and I always knew what was going on. I couldn't have been happier with his service and would highly recommend him to anyone.

We had a drain clog backup that caused water to cover our entire basement. I called Ken’s around 6pm and they were over in about 30 minutes. The completed the job in a short time and the price was fair. I would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable plumber in the metro area!

My tub handle broke off at the valve and the tub could not be turned off, this meant it was time to turn off the main water line :( well, that did not fully work and water was still running. then, the darn handle broke completely off my main water line meaning no way to turn my water on or off and water stuck on.

We called and Roman was literally at the house in like 30 minutes. Sadly, we had to have the city shut off water and a few extra unexpected repairs. However, we will come out ahead and have a better setup from here on out so that is a huge win.

Roman is very professional, upfront, and honest about the prices discussed. Everything showed us along the way what was going on we could make an informed decision. Super easy-going and straight forward with communication and options. He will be coming back next week to help us with the rest of the repair. We are so grateful that the water is no longer ready. From scheduling to estimating to payment, everything went so smoothly. The technician was knowledgeable and communicated throughout. Much appreciated! It's never fun to spend money on repairs, but I felt this was money well spent.

Alto was referred to me by another customer. So I set up appointment, I'm gonna cut to the chase. I was charged $250 for the first 90 mins and $175 per hour after, and I was told it would be $2 per additional foot to run the snake beyond 100 feet. He ran the snake an additional 50 feet. I paid almost $800. I had to call another company out to actually clear out the wipes stuck in the drain. They charged $198 and actually unclogged the drain.
I spoke with the person that referred me to Alto, whose opinion I trust because he is knowledgeable, I explained to him what Rick did and what he charged me...he couldn't believe it and was not happy as that's not what Alto even charges for multi dwelling plumbing issues.
I'm told they get commission..I guess being a woman that doesn't know much about plumbing, Rick decided I would be his target that day.
The person that referred me is going to try and help me recoup some of the money back, he felt really bad, and has not had this type of experience(work or price) with Alto before, and knows who Rick is.
All it takes is 1 person/employee to give a business a bad reputation.
Due to the experience I had with Alto, I will not recommend this company, and I advised the person that referred me(even though he meant well) not to refer them.
