Best Repair Outdoor Systems in Saint Paul MN

Showed up an hour and a half late to move a gas line for my stove. Told them when I set up the appointment that the line ran through a crawl space, they said it was no problem. Guy tells me without even looking in the crawl space that I should just leave it because of where it's coming in and let the cabinet makers build around the line. I told him my reasons why I (and my cabinet contractor) want it moved and after repeating myself several times he takes a look in the crawl space. He says he can do it but it will have to be another day because it will take longer than expected. He thinks about 3 hours. Tells me it for sure won't go over $720, might be less. I asked for that in writing and he says sure I'll ask the office to send you an email when I get back. Give him my credit card number for an hour and half of work.

As I'm waiting for the call back from the office I realize that now I'm going to have to pay for driving time twice and that today I am paying basically $300 for nothing more than a quote. The office agrees to charge me only for 30 minutes today as to take care of paying multiple times for driving but will not put the $720 quote in writing. While acknowledging that the communication was unclear she would not budge, then said she wouldn't charge me today and that they would not be able to do the work for me.

I don't want to pay $190 an hour for a service that includes mansplaining. I also don't want to be given a quote and told that it guaranteed won't go over $720 by the person doing the work only to be told an hour later by the office that it's not possible. I appreciate that they didn't charge me for today, but am discouraged by how quickly they were willing to drop a customer in need as soon as clear communication was expected. Proceed with caution if you go with this company.

The service I got from Roto-Rooter to unclog my toilet was excellent. The service technician, Derek #4349, was courteous and knowledgeable. He gave me helpful tips about how to avoid this problem going forward. He asked if there were any other plumbing issues in my house. He was a very good representative of your company

We have a private well and septic and they were able to work on it, which, if you don’t know, not all plumbers will work on wells and septic. Alan was very friendly and professional. They were super quick getting the job done and showing up on time. They also gave me a military discount which was greatly appreciate it. Overall just a really good experience and no more clogged drain so I feel like it was a win!

Bill was absolutely amazing, he came out on Superbowl Sunday, was out in less than 30 minutes from the time of the call. He was able to quickly get my furnace back up and working. He was very professional, wore his make the entire time, and was able to easily explain what went wrong with my furnace in easy to follow terms. He also took the time to ensure that the heat was climbing before leaving the site to ensure that i would have no further problems. Great service, fast response time, and clearly articulated what needed to be fixed, and how to avoid that issue in the future. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I had noticed a miscellaneous leak coming from around my laundry tub for awhile. I finally decided it was about time to get it fixed. I called TJK Plumbing and they came out that same day! DJ and Kyle located the leak and also noticed a lot of corrosion on my 20+ year old laundry tub. After explaining everything they found, they fixed the leak and were also able to replace the laundry tub. About 2 weeks later I had another plumbing problem. I noticed orange stuff coming from my softener. I called TJK Plumbing again and they were able to get Brad out same day on the weekend. He saw right away that my softener had blown and was starting to leak resin. He was able to install a new one same day and made sure all my lines were clear. Everyone who I had out was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and clean. I will definitely be calling them for any future plumbing issues.

Amazing experience! From the time I called in the morning until the job was finished I was very impressed! I had a leaking pipe in my basement. We have used discount plumbing and drain cleaning on more than one occasion. The last visit was for a main drain clean out. Our drain was completely plugged. Could not use sinks, toilets or any water or it would come right back out of the floor drain. I called and they came out in two hours. The technician was friendly. Wore shoe covers and even put covers on the tires of the drain snake machine to protect my carpet. He explained what he was going to do and even showed me the tree roots he removed that were causing my issue. The area that he worked in was clean after he was done and my water is flowing freely. I would highly recommend this company. Lastly I called around just to check, and they were also the best price. A win all around.

I'm glad I did because everyone was friendly and they asked the right questions before coming to our home in Woodbury. Stu was very fun and informative! Pricing seemed fair, still expensive though. We will definitely use this company again!!

I had an original quote from a chain company to replace my shower diverter, got a second opinion from him and he did it for less than half their quote. Very quick and clean work. Wore shoe coverings in the home. Cleaned up. Explained everything he did and pointed out precautionary measures I could take to avoid future issues there and elsewhere. Family owned. Alto was referred to me by another customer. So I set up appointment, I'm gonna cut to the chase. I was charged $250 for the first 90 mins and $175 per hour after, and I was told it would be $2 per additional foot to run the snake beyond 100 feet. He ran the snake an additional 50 feet. I paid almost $800. I had to call another company out to actually clear out the wipes stuck in the drain. They charged $198 and actually unclogged the drain.
I spoke with the person that referred me to Alto, whose opinion I trust because he is knowledgeable, I explained to him what Rick did and what he charged me...he couldn't believe it and was not happy as that's not what Alto even charges for multi dwelling plumbing issues.
I'm told they get commission..I guess being a woman that doesn't know much about plumbing, Rick decided I would be his target that day.
The person that referred me is going to try and help me recoup some of the money back, he felt really bad, and has not had this type of experience(work or price) with Alto before, and knows who Rick is.
All it takes is 1 person/employee to give a business a bad reputation.
Due to the experience I had with Alto, I will not recommend this company, and I advised the person that referred me(even though he meant well) not to refer them.
