Repaired my shower valve that had snapped off at the stem. With patience and persistence, Tim removed the old valve from the shower and replaced it with a new one. David suggested I replace my secondary shut off valve down in the basement. I could tell he had my best interest in mind and agreed to have the handle replaced. This business is family owned and these guys are top notch.

Justin did a fantastic job. I summarized my problem and emailed it to Erik. Erik was able to give a ball park estimate and it was a good price. The job came in a little over the estimate, but Justin did much more than I expected. And here's the kicker. The price came in at less than one third of what a name-brand plumbing outfit wanted!

On the hottest day possible our A/C went out. From my first call to Apollo they were very professional and got us on the schedule ASAP! Justen Plumbing does great work. Mike is a honest hard working family man who’s your local neighborhood plumber. He’s a one man show so be patient about him returning calls when he’s busy. But his work as a master plumber is top notch and has honest pricing about his quality work.

My wife set-up an appointment to have an undermount bathroom sink bowl installed, to replace a sink bowl that had cracked. Joel arrived within the service window. It was immediately apparent that it was not work he wanted to do, for whatever reason. He informed me that it's a 'very rare' job...which is hard to believe as these are quite common. I had a replacement sink bowl purchased and ready to go. After pondering it a bit, he came back with a quote of $752. According to several contractor friends I'd spoken with, this is DOUBLE what the high-end cost for this job should've been. Joel noted that the job would take about 2 hours; it's was only sealing the sink to the marble and the reconnecting the pipes. So almost $400/hr for his time? I feel it was a straight-up swindle and he just inflated the cost so he'd walk out without any work and the $69 visit fee. I'm assuming this is a common practice with Soderlin, to inflate prices and then laugh all the way to the bank when they've conned the customer or walk away with $69 for 10 mins of poking around. We were scammed. I would caution working with this outfit, especially without any price range estimate before the service visit (which Joel said they don't do). Our household had no hot water and Jake came out on a Saturday to fix the issue! First he asked the right questions and had me text a few photos. Then with a bit more investigation he was able to determine what the issue was - the vapor signal - was emitting. He came over, replaced the part, explained that you can't put paint next to a water heater, which my son did recently while sweeping the utility room. So now we know. Jake was friendly, prompt and helped us understand what needed to be done, I highly recommend him!

Took three days for him to put in a utility sink. Then had to call him back twice because one of the pipes he put in leaked. Charges by the minute and spent 20+ minutes trying to sell us on a specific faucet. He is not worth the hassle. Also, plumbers crack showed the whole time.
