Best Leaking Water Heater in Saint Paul MN

As others have noted, they are just really expensive, and you don’t know how much you need to pay until committing to the $100 trip fee. I was quoted $750 ($570 for 1 hr of labor) for a routine kitchen faucet replacement.

We had a pipe leak over the weekend. approx $200 just to come out and diagnose problem (fair). It was a pinhole leak that was present for over a day so the leak looked worse than it was. Standard copper pipe, 10 feet of replacement with standard fittings, 100% visible/ accessible. service was fine but he charged 1600 dollars! Didn't tell me how much more the service would be until after he performed the repair and tried to tell me he was giving me a discount. I felt compelled to pay because we were in a bind but I think this situation should be visible to other potential customers so they can make up their own minds about ethics and pricing.

We have a private well and septic and they were able to work on it, which, if you don’t know, not all plumbers will work on wells and septic. Alan was very friendly and professional. They were super quick getting the job done and showing up on time. They also gave me a military discount which was greatly appreciate it. Overall just a really good experience and no more clogged drain so I feel like it was a win!

I had a birthday party scheduled in the afternoon and woke up to a water pipe burst right in the morning ..very inconvenient. The lady who took my call was very accommodating and understanding and was able to help me get someone out here asap . Mr. Stephen was great 👍🏼 very helpful . Sewer cleaning and later to look at a plumbing issue that needs to be reworked. Both times I've worked with this company were very positive experiences. Both times the person providing the service was very knowledgeable, patiently answered all of my questions and didn't talk down to me. As a a female homeowner that is such a big factor in gaining my trust. I would highly recommend this company!!!

Work was done on-time and at the quoted amount. Everything went great; my only hesitation in giving a full 5 stars was that to get a cleaning, I had to schedule amost a full month in advance.

Dave has done plumbing work at my house a couple of times over the last few years. Most recently, he installed a bathroom sink faucet and drain for a newly replaced vanity. The plumbing was a little challenging, as the new sink was offset from the drain pipe. Dave was great about communicating prior to the appointment so he was clear on what needed to be done. He came up with a good solution that was much less invasive and expensive than what another plumber had suggested/quoted to me. He walked me though what he was doing and answered any questions I had. Dave does quality work and provides a great plumbing service experience.

In need of a new water heater and called Mike Justen as recommended.
He answered and said he'd get to me soon. I told him there was no hurry but he came as promised the next day right on time. He quickly dismantled and removed the old heater and professionally installed the new quality appliance.

Fantastic Job!! Our technician was Jim, and couldn't have ask for a better one. He was very prompt on arrival and to get to work. We had an absolute mess under our sink and in our crawl space, and Jim was able to completely fix our issues. He communicated in a very friendly yet informative way what was going on and what he was doing. He made it very easy for me to continue my day as normal while still knowing that I was getting a quality job done. Very polite, friendly and respectful as well as good with pets! Discount Plumbers was great! They gave me a 1 to 4:00 p.m. window and ended up being able to come earlier which was awesome. Zach was super friendly and professional. Got the clog out quick and the price was very competitive and affordable.

I called Soderlin Plumbing because they have been around South Minneapolis for years. From the first call, to problem solved, I was impressed.
The issue was, I have had such horrible water pressure going to my outside water faucet for years. My sprinkler was only able to get about 3 feet high.
Ken came over and assessed the issue within 10 minutes and recommended a solution. I agreed and he got to work. Ken was trustworthy and experienced. I am 100% pleased with the results and I no longer have sprinkler envy of my neighbors. Thank you so much Ken!

Waited two weeks for an estimator to come out only to get a voicemail one hour before the appointment saying that the company doesn’t work in multi family buildings. I came to St. Paul Pipeworks because they were recommended by a smaller plumber who only does single family, which I explained. Very unprofessional and disappointing service.

*Update for clarity: there is no special equipment required, the job is a PVC drain pipe replacement.
