Mike was interested in helping us build the best system for our house and came up with a couple options that required going the “extra mile” on pricing. We got a great system at a significant discount because “that’s my job”, as he said.The install technicians, Dave and Ray, arrived ahead of time and worked the rears off to get our new HVAC system installed in ONE day (when it expected to take 1 1/2 days). They were courteous, meticulous and answered a dozen questions about my new system before they headed out the door.Sam was sent in the next day to check a system glitch that was easily resolved. But, he went through the entire trouble shooting checklist to make sure we were up and running before he walked out the door.The entire team has my highest recommendation. They take pride in their work and the relationships involved when they cross your threshold.I’d welcome them back any day!

Everyone I have worked with at Aquarius thus far has been great. Although my experience with the product itself has been horrible. I’ve had technicians at my home several times since having my water softener installed in late January. I’ve had everything installed from Aquarius and my water quality is still poor aside from the RO system. We have been dealing with the hard water feeling since day 1, strong chlorine smells in the water (we purchased the chlorine system to fix this), yellow stains in our toilets/bath tubs, and most recently high iron content in the water (they said this was the cause of the hard water feeling). Aquarius installed an iron filter for us a few days ago and since then we have had a black film cover our bathtub every night after giving our toddler a bath. Also, we had a huge blowout from the new system in our basement of black dust that covered almost our entire room.

I don’t know if we have just had bad luck, but our neighbors who utilized different companies for their softeners haven’t had any issues at all. As I said earlier my interactions with everyone at Aquarius has been awesome, but at this point regret my buying decision.

As first time homeowners, this was our first season experiencing the Minnesota winter and the freeze/thaw/insulation issues that create ice dams and roofing leaks - and with a new baby, the situation was extra stressful. We reached out to All Star Handyman as they were highly recommended and talked with Josiah about our situation. He was extremely professional and clearly has a lot of experience in the industry, but was able to speak at our level for us to really understand what was happening, the possible causes, and the pros/cons to various solutions. We never felt talked down to or like he was trying to scare and oversell us. We felt very confident that we understood the situation and the best solution for our family and budget. Josiah oversaw the completion of our fix and he was timely, well-prepared, and very personable to work with - it felt like he truly cared about our family and doing a good job for us. Not only was he thorough and efficient in completing the project, but he also educated us with the knowledge and tools to prevent the issue from reoccurring next season. This company does not have discount prices. One half hour of work to replace a small section of 1/2 inch copper pipe at a T joint was $688. No one comes out for free, and no one gives a quote without seeing the issue, even if it is a very common problem. Not sure other firms are cheaper, but this was probably $800 an hour for labor, or more.

The guy that came to my location actually told me the truth about my property and was honestly very helpful. He was also very polite and knew exactly what he was talking about very professional. I would actually recommend them because of their professionalism and their knowledge.

My wife set-up an appointment to have an undermount bathroom sink bowl installed, to replace a sink bowl that had cracked. Joel arrived within the service window. It was immediately apparent that it was not work he wanted to do, for whatever reason. He informed me that it's a 'very rare' job...which is hard to believe as these are quite common. I had a replacement sink bowl purchased and ready to go. After pondering it a bit, he came back with a quote of $752. According to several contractor friends I'd spoken with, this is DOUBLE what the high-end cost for this job should've been. Joel noted that the job would take about 2 hours; it's was only sealing the sink to the marble and the reconnecting the pipes. So almost $400/hr for his time? I feel it was a straight-up swindle and he just inflated the cost so he'd walk out without any work and the $69 visit fee. I'm assuming this is a common practice with Soderlin, to inflate prices and then laugh all the way to the bank when they've conned the customer or walk away with $69 for 10 mins of poking around. We were scammed. I would caution working with this outfit, especially without any price range estimate before the service visit (which Joel said they don't do). This company might be good at the work they do but the forsure aren’t good at standing behind anything! I was following one of there trucks the other day (#7) and a 4 plus inch clamp fell out of the back of there truck and bounced down the highway and hit my windshield. I called jay at there office with the number provided off of the side of the truck and was not pushy or anything, asking if they would pay for the window. Jay agreed to pay after I got a quote. I got a quote and then all of the sudden he got amnesia and decided he wasn’t going to pay.

Anyway they should pay for there mistakes and make sure there stuff is tied down properly, although it might of fell through one of the rust holes on that old truck
