The gas control valve on our water heater stopped working. We went to the Bradford White website and found a list of contracted plumbers. Golden Valley Plumbing was one of them. We found some great reviews on Yelp, so we decided to give them a call. Val made everything extremely easy from getting a quote, scheduling an appointment, ordering and getting the part, arriving on time, and doing everything in a timely manner. Affordable option. I own a home that was built in 1951 and still had original galvanized steel water pipes. I did a remodel on the home when I purchased, but didn't have the funds for a repipe at that time. Fast forward a few years and it was time to get the home repiped. The water pressure in my main bathroom was seriously lacking..

I knew it wasn't going to be a super easy job b/c these older homes usually have some surprises. In looking for a repipe company, I wanted to hire someone that specialized in home repipes. I got bids from a few companies, Sacramento Repipe being one.. Their bid was competitive and the owner seemed nice and attentive. They seemed like they would take care of my renovated home.

I went with Sac Repipe and they got my job started within a few weeks. The crew that did the work were nice and were hard workers. We did run into some challenges along the way and it took a bit longer than I was hoping for, but like I said, it's an old house. At the end of the day, the job got done, the challenges were overcome, and the communication was professional.

I feel like I received good value, was treated with respect, and best of all, I now have great water pressure.

I have worked with many construction vendors in my life. Many times I have found communication and professionalism lacking. That was not the case with Dave and Sacramento Repipe.

Because the pipes are galvanized and old (65 years) he advised of the possible risks of the work in a particular area so I could make an informed decision to proceed. He successfuly made the repairs. I appreciate the professionalism and that he could show me where future problems can be expected to develop so I know what to look for and plan for future upgrades.

I had this company dispatched through my home warranty the technician came out diagnosed the unit I waited 2 weeks for parts the part worked for about an hour and stopped working I called the company they were very unprofessional said they were not going to fix it and would not return my money either I don't know who runs this company but this is definitely not the way to do business and I will definitely be contacting the BBB and a lawyer in this matter Thank you and have a great day
