Erratic drivers

An honest group of guys that takes a lot of pride in what they do. The crew was on site for over 2 months performing an industrial installation of a hot and cold water system that required silver soldering 95% of the connections. It was a large and complicated project that they were building to prints, but as those in industry know things are not always black and white between 2D prints and the actual building during an installation. I was impressed from the project’s start to finish with the company’s handling of every detail and decisions made along the way. Most of all, communication was very fast and clear, we never felt left hanging or out of the loop.

They’re not very big on advertising, but definitely one of the best plumbing contractors in town.

The staff was very professional, friendly & helpful. The field team were on time for their appointments. Kept in touch with their ETA's. Shopped around & they're quote came in the lowest. We were in a bind late last year to convert gas connection to propane so we could get our CofO approved & Paul's Heating & Air came thru for us. I don't usually do reviews or surveys but I would recommend Paul's Heating & Air to anyone.

We are building an addition onto our home and this required upgrading our current heating and cooling system. Even though this is likely to be the only time we are installing a new HVAC system (as opposed to regular builders) I have found Brix to be very responsive to my schedule. The work crews are courteous and professional in their work and their interaction with me and have done very good work at the time they promised to be here. With other companies I had a hard time even getting a bid, but Brix--from the owner on down to the least senior installer--have been great to work with. Any time I have a need for heating or cooling or if someone asks for a recommendation I will gladly recommend Jacob and his company.

Best commercial plumbing contractor in town

Our water main line was beginning to leak. I had several companies come and quote. River City's quote was close to others (~12k), but they claimed they could do the job trenchless while others claimed the work required a trench be dug. Surprise, surprise, quickly after the work was started, they informed me they would need to dig a trench & cut across our driveway. The biggest issue was after work was complete, they hit me with an over 50% increase at over 19k for the work. This seems like an unusually large increase. Then they were rushing to receive payment before all the work was even complete.

They also have a membership program that includes water heater flushes. When we called more than once about it, they just didn't return our calls.

The final job was done decently (had to come back for a small leak), but between the inability to accurately quote and being more concerned about getting paid then getting the job done, I was left less then enthused to work with them.

EDIT: I'll give credit where it is due. After this review, River City Reached out to apologize. They also were willing to address another leak at the vacuum breaker under the warranty despite this less than stellar review. I appreciate the cordialness and their willingness to stand behind their work.
