I bought an old home in Penn Hills that began having numerous plumbing related issues almost immediately. Toilets not flushing, drainage problems, and the pipes for the first floor bathroom went down into an unheated crawl space in the basement. McVay was the first name that came up -- Mike came over within a few hours and fixed the plumbing issue in the bowl which was small. Three months later, in the dead of winter when the pipes in the unheated crawl froze and burst, Mike was over in around an hour, applied a heated tape to keep them from bursting again, and didn't charge me for the late night call. I no longer live in pittsburgh but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate to call them for work.

I received prompt service in troubleshooting an issue with an on-demand water heater. The end result was that the unit needed to be replaced. Hugh and team were quick and responsive and the unit was replaced within a few days. Even though the job took two days they worked with me and my tenants to ensure that the house had hot water during the times they weren't working on it. The end result is a properly installed on-demand water heater, and I am pleased with the work, timing, and price. I would easily recommend Proudfoot to anyone who had a plumbing need and will use them for other work including heating and air when I need those things in the future.

always quick does a great job

Our furnace blower fan (that actually pushes air throughout the house) was about dead going into a holiday weekend so we called around for help. Gillece was the first to respond. The technician, Perry, was very nice, informative and professional, so much so that we were asking for him to be the one to effect the repair (had to wait a day for the part) and luckily, he was the one who came back and got us back up and running in short time. We are truly pleased with the service provided!

They may or may not do good work. Personally I have never used them, will never, or refer them to anyone since they don't know how to clean up after themselves and take their garbage with them. I am a contractor & every place I go into that this company was in before me their garbage or specifically the old hot water tank is left behind for someone else to remove. That is completely unprofessional & lazy. Learn to take your trash!

Benito was polite and did the job—for $715.83! He went to Home Depot for parts and installed them. I have no itemized bill and will not recommend Fagnelli because of their outrageous prices.
