Best Heating Maintenance Services in Pittsburgh PA

This company was very accommodating to me and my family in our time of need when our furnace broke!!! They were kind and extremely helpful and I will be using them from now on for all of my HVAC needs !!!!!

We recently had a new toilet installed by McVay Plumbing. Greg and Ian were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We were pleased with the service— from the initial scheduling calls with Shelby all the way through to a successful plumbing installation. We plan to use McVay again in the future for our plumbing needs!

Absolute rock stars. Zero complaints, they do great work

Not a great experience. Had the guy come out on a Thursday to diagnose the issue. Spent about a half an hour. Told me he was gonna go back to the office and have someone call me to schedule an appointment to fix. Didn’t hear from them so called them the next Monday two times and both times was told I would get a call back. No call. Tuesday somebody showed up to fix the air conditioner with out notifying me. I was at work. I left for my lunch break. When I got home he was halfway done. He replaced the part in my AC and installed a new thermostat. He was there another half an hour. So one hour total between Thursday and Tuesday. I received an email with a breakdown of the invoice and realized I was charged $267 for a thermostat. Same thermostat at Home Depot is $45. It took him five minutes to install. As of now I have several calls in to get this corrected and they will not call me back. Stay away!

The installation team (Ryan and others) were excellent. We had to insist on a larger AC Unit, as there was unaccounted square footage. Also surprised that there was drilling through an outside wall that was not explained when getting and signing the bid. STILL....I'd recommend them highly- the price was very reasonable- definitely less than others! And the work was completed efficiently and with no worries by an excellent team of workers. Would definitely use South Side Plumbing and Heating again!!

Had water pressure issues , they came out next day
and replaced the pressure relief valve to try to fix
pressure issue even though there was no guarantee
which they told me upfront. It solved a little bit of the
pressure issue. They recommend I call the water
authorities to have them check the pressure at the meter which I did and there was plenty pressure at the meter. So I called back to South Hills Plumbing
and talked with them . They sent the same plumber
out to trouble shoot. The issue was the new
pressure relief valve was bad put another new one
in and the pressure was great. They did this at no
charge to me. Highly recommend this company for being honest and having great integrity.

Jake T. was on time, professional, and very forward about everything. Did the job in a timely manner. Helped out with questions I had. Would definitely recommend Jake and Gillece. I will be sure to use them in the future

Best in the business for kitchen hood cleanings, ansul inspections, and fire extinguishers. Very responsive, knowledgeable staff. If you own a bar/restaurant give these guys a call

We are so very appreciative of these guys and how much they've helped us over the last month. As a young female homeowner, I am often talked down to, ignored, and/or overcharged. It can be hard to get a call back these days let alone to have quality work done at a decent price. They came to our house for a plumbing issue and ended up also installing a stove that was delivered without hook-up because of that company's mistake. We would have had to get through the Easter weekend without a stove if it wasn't for them. Within probably 2 weeks, I had to call them again for a separate issue and sure enough, they helped us quickly and kindly. Calling Castle for services feels like calling family for help. They will always be our trusted go-to and we're grateful to have them around!

John was friendly, and communicated effectively about the product/service, and the option of financing, the tax rebate eligible with certain products and how the warranty can be used as a selling point- if that were needed down the road. I can honestly say I have a good understanding of all that was offered. I now feel confident in my decision to choose Sullivan for this large purchase. Everything from the car air freshener with the contact info, to making the appointment, to getting the estimate, was friendly, smooth and efficient.

Great service! The tech arrived about an hour after I called on a Saturday afternoon… which is wonderful because water was leaking from a pipe. Jeff did quick and clean work. He explained the repairs and promptly started the project.

Very professional.:40 minutes of total gentle labor plus 40 minutes of driving to pick up the piece and bring it back to install it. A small resistor, which should not cost more than a few dollars. Total: US$ 399. My bad, I should have asked the hourly rate.

The water tank in two of our bathrooms needed repair because of loss of water due to mechanical problems. A person from Miller Plumbing came to take a look at the toilette tanks. He proceed to tell me that he was going to charge me $39.00 for the visit and also said something to the effect that it would cost me $379.00 to fix the bathrooms. I guess it was my misunderstanding but even the price quoted was quite steep to fix the leaking problems in the tanks. Furthermore, he said that he would be returning soon to fix the issues with the toilettes. In fact, he came the next day in the morning. To my surprise, once he was finished with the job, he proceeded to bill me for another $727.00 on top of the deposit of $100 that I had paid him the previous day. I assume that the fixtures that he bought to replace the ones that are in the bathroom could not have been much higher than $50. That means that I paid about $750 for Miller Plumbing for less than an hour's time of one of its employees. That's the time he took to fix the plumbing. I told the person the the price was outrageous but he told me that is the price to fix a bathroom, 379 for each, plus $39 for the visit and the rest for the fixtures that were provided. Highway robbery to say the least. If you are looking to fix anything in your bathroom keep away from Miller Plumbing. I could have bought two new toilette bowls and have them installed for the price that I paid to fix some minor plumbing issues. I tried to put a stop payment on the check but it was too late to do so. If I could give less than a star to Miller Plumbing I would gladly give it to them.

They may or may not do good work. Personally I have never used them, will never, or refer them to anyone since they don't know how to clean up after themselves and take their garbage with them. I am a contractor & every place I go into that this company was in before me their garbage or specifically the old hot water tank is left behind for someone else to remove. That is completely unprofessional & lazy. Learn to take your trash!

Had them out a while back for a no heat problem . They told me that I had a cracked heat exchanger , and needed to replace the furnace immediately . Their quote was ridiculous . When I declined , he said he would red tag my furnace , and call the building inspector , and then I would have to leave my house until it was fixed . I asked him to show me where the crack was, but his camera conveniently died . I offered to go pick him up a battery. , but his takes “ special “ batteries. Told him to go kick rocks . Had another company come out , replace the thermocouple, and no more problems. And we looked at the heat exchanger with his camera . Couldn’t find anything . These guys are con men . Find someone with integrity to work on your home …
