Best Gas Plumbing in Pittsburgh PA

I usually do not write reviews but since there are a lot of bad companies out there, I felt compelled to tell of our experience with K-Plumbing. They answered on the first call and were very polite. I had an assessment set up for the next day. They arrived promptly within the scheduled hour block. The gentlemen were very professional and gave me all options. I chose a 40 gallon tank, which to my sheer delight was delivered within an hour of my decision to get a new water heater. From arrival to completion, it was only a little over 3 hours. And the best part was they did not bring a cheap water heater for installation, but a top of the line product. I could not be happier with my choice to use this company. Thanks again for a job well done.

I had SH Plumbing replace two toilets in my home. I had a previous appointment the week before that they canceled. Shortly after arriving I had asked if I could get a discount due to the cancellation on their end. I believe the employees name was Tom he said and I quote, “No, do you want me to stop right now”. I proceeded to say I thought I could get some type of discount because you guys canceled on me..He replied a second time, No, do you want me to pack up and leave right now”. I understand if that’s there policy, however I did not like his tone. I made arrangements to be home for the first appointment and canceled plans. I will not be using them in the future for this reason

Great same-day service. Fixed our basement pump without a problem when many other plumbers refused to do the work or had to schedule out later in the week. BTW, If other plumbers say Mr. Rooter can't do the work like some people I called did, don't believe them.

Amazing company! We’ve used them for multiple projects and they have been very professional and great on pricing. Definitely recommend if you want an honest company that cares about building good relationships with their customers.

They do an ok job, if you can get them to return your phone call and actually come out to your home. I've been trying to get them out to my home for a month now and they have only returned my calls twice-once to take my info and tell me they would be out later in the week, and a second time several weeks later to tell me that they still intended to come out even though they never called to let me know they weren't coming the first time. Since then I have left more voicemails and none have been returned. Our landlord used them and we thought they did ok work so when we decided to demo the bathroom at our new home they were at the top of my list to contact. It appears that they don't want or don't need the business though. They have wasted our time. Don't waste yours.

I called to repair my garbage disposal. Dave gave suggestions on how to do it myself and if it doesn’t work he said he will come. Instead of coining and charging me, he was very nice and his suggestion worked. You do not see repairman like him.

Matt Mertz Plumbing was recommended to us by two of our clients so we reached out when we needed to address an issue pertaining to our storm/sewer lateral. Technician, Chris Sperl, stopped by our home and gave me excellent advice, though it cost him the opportunity to do the work I thought I wanted. Chris was experienced, friendly, and professional.
