Best Gas Line Repair in Pittsburgh PA

Rich and Bill have worked to fix another plumbers subpar work. Also I’ve had them install a new kitchen sink, fix a toilet and leaky old plumbing from 1955. They have both been prompt, wear shoes covers and never leave a mess. I will use them again!

Poor customer service attitude. Repeatedly forgets to follow up.

Called them in for a clogged drain. Came over within the hour and made short work of it. Local owned business that gets it done efficiently. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Great plumbers and price is right

I recently called McVay Plumbing to fix a broken pipe. During my initial phone call, Teal greeted me warmly and listened attentively as I explained my plumbing issue.

Teal assured me that McVay could help and she scheduled the master plumber to my house within days. I met Greg and Jack, who were extremely professional.

Greg and Jack explained the exact procedure and gave a reasonable estimate. Teal scheduled me within a week and Greg and Jack returned on time as scheduled. They both were very professional and clean! I specifically appreciated they understood I had two small children in the house so they were extra cautious and courteous to work efficiently and quietly.

Greg and Jack cleaned up and left my house as clean as when they arrived. They treated my family with respect.

If I need plumbing service I will certainly use McVay Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

The installation team (Ryan and others) were excellent. We had to insist on a larger AC Unit, as there was unaccounted square footage. Also surprised that there was drilling through an outside wall that was not explained when getting and signing the bid. STILL....I'd recommend them highly- the price was very reasonable- definitely less than others! And the work was completed efficiently and with no worries by an excellent team of workers. Would definitely use South Side Plumbing and Heating again!!

Brandon from B and R Mechanical did a great job for our business. We asked for his help on two occasions and he showed up on time and did a great job on both occasions. Brandon is a hard worker, professional and gets the job done. I will definitely be calling Brandon the next time I need a plumber.

Called Dave to unplug a sewer line at my son's house in Millvale.. Was to be a $99 special with a camera... He could not unclog the line And did not even bring a camera..but charged me $145 .I gave him $160 as he said he would return on weds...After numerous texts and phone calls to him .. He returned with two texts.. one that he would call me at lunch. which he never did .and one for an exorbitant amount of money $3200 when he did not even know the situation...had to pay another plumber an additional $70 to put the toilet back on.... Very unprofessional and a complete waste of money...

I called around to a lot of places for quotes on a water heater replacement and these guys had the best rate by far. Dispatch was very pleasant to deal with, and Maryanne made sure I was on the schedule before the weekend so my daughter and I weren't without hot water until Monday. Brandon came out at the exact time dispatch said he would, and he was very polite and professional. He explained everything clearly and did not try to upsell me on a bunch of stuff I didn't need which is more than could be said about a lot of competitors. There were absolutely no hidden fees or up charges, I paid exactly what was quoted. Brandon even gave some advice on possible issues with my chimney and things to look out for on my PVM. From start to finish, I really don't think it could've gone better. I'll absolutely be calling them for future work.

Vince is very reliable and as many others have said, really knows his stuff and what he's talking about. He's great at communicating when setting up an appointment and won't ghost you. He took care of resetting a toilet and installing a kitchen faucet for us. We highly recommend his services and will definitely be repeat customers.

Had water pressure issues , they came out next day
and replaced the pressure relief valve to try to fix
pressure issue even though there was no guarantee
which they told me upfront. It solved a little bit of the
pressure issue. They recommend I call the water
authorities to have them check the pressure at the meter which I did and there was plenty pressure at the meter. So I called back to South Hills Plumbing
and talked with them . They sent the same plumber
out to trouble shoot. The issue was the new
pressure relief valve was bad put another new one
in and the pressure was great. They did this at no
charge to me. Highly recommend this company for being honest and having great integrity.

They do an ok job, if you can get them to return your phone call and actually come out to your home. I've been trying to get them out to my home for a month now and they have only returned my calls twice-once to take my info and tell me they would be out later in the week, and a second time several weeks later to tell me that they still intended to come out even though they never called to let me know they weren't coming the first time. Since then I have left more voicemails and none have been returned. Our landlord used them and we thought they did ok work so when we decided to demo the bathroom at our new home they were at the top of my list to contact. It appears that they don't want or don't need the business though. They have wasted our time. Don't waste yours.
