Best Gas Line Install in Pittsburgh PA

This is the third time I have called k-plumbing in 4 years. Every time I call the response time is unmatched. When you need a plumber it is usally for an emergency. Every time they are there within two hours. I have met a lot of plumbers and by far this company is the best to deal with from pricing to timely completion of work. Keep up the good work Rich and crew. Oh yeah today Patrick was in and out with problem solved.. Thanks guys

Great plumbers and price is right

People's gas failed to light the pilot light and Cody came within the half hour and got it lit for us. He was fast and professional. We will definitely call them for all of our plumbing needs.

Techs were respectful, knowledgeable, and did high quality work.

Never showed for the appointment. I called and they rescheduled for the next day, showed but never gave the estimate. Thanks for wasting my time.

I had Bob himself come out to do a job before and was pleased with his work for that job so I hired his team for a larger job. In the future, I would use a plumber that does the work himself.

The crew that did the job this time didn't work on my house as if it were their house. I was reassured that the flow rate with pex will be at least as good as before pex and I don't need to go to a larger diameter pipe.

In reality, the flow rate was worse and the other noticeable problem was the decrease in the maximum water temperature in the winter which is probably a direct result from the decrease in flow rate and the thermostatic valve compensating.

I am posting this about a year after the work was completed as the hot water issue is readily apparent in the cold winter months. Prior to completion, I did test the flow rate and raised that concern again (as I did prior to starting the job), but at that point, the pipes are all installed, so what can you do ... Yes, I was right, or start over?

This has been an educational experience and a lesson in patience. To reiterate, either micro-manage or find another plumber.

DAP plumbing put a new water service line in for me and did an excellent job. It was a very difficult and challenging job, but he didn't give up and finished the job at the low end of his bid range. Based on my experience, I would take the poor reviews with a grain of salt.

I called MMP around 8 am and spoke to Cindy. She had me take some pictures of my water heater to email over to them. Within 45 minutes I spoke to Diane, she gave me the price and said she could have someone out to my house by early afternoon the same day. Diane called me back at roughly 11:30 am to let me know a crew had finished a bigger job early and could be at my house in 45 minutes (they got here in 30!).

Jim and Joe were AWESOME! We went over the issues and they answered ALL of our questions and then some. Within an hour and a half they had the old water tank out and the new one installed along with a pressure regulator. Their work was EXCELLENT and the price was good! They will be my go to for any future plumbing needs. I asked MMP to get me a quote for a new furnace and AC unit, I will be sure to edit the review and let everyone know how that goes.

Vince did a good job with some plumbing work for me. He was able to diagnose my real issue (unlike multiple other plumbers who came out to look at the job) and saved me some money. He knows his stuff and is very observant.

I had to pay in advance. They did not fix the problem. Said they would call to set up coming back, bit never called. It turned out to be such a simple reason for my clog that I fixed it myself with a sink plunger!

walkin to the office as we live nearby and fred and his team was really nice. we had this vibrating ceiling on basement after flushing the toilet for a week. his team came in same day and fix the problem in no time. i really appreciate and would definitely recommend South Hills plumbing and heating to all. They do an ok job, if you can get them to return your phone call and actually come out to your home. I've been trying to get them out to my home for a month now and they have only returned my calls twice-once to take my info and tell me they would be out later in the week, and a second time several weeks later to tell me that they still intended to come out even though they never called to let me know they weren't coming the first time. Since then I have left more voicemails and none have been returned. Our landlord used them and we thought they did ok work so when we decided to demo the bathroom at our new home they were at the top of my list to contact. It appears that they don't want or don't need the business though. They have wasted our time. Don't waste yours.
