Goodman Plumbing Plumber
Nick came out to give us an estimate last week and we had him come out this week to complete it (we needed a new shut off valve for the gas line). He was knowledgeable, professional, and got us a good price. We are very satisfied with the work he did and would recommend this company; they come out quickly, get the job done fast, and are responsive to customers needs.

Turner Brothers plumbing & Heating llc Plumber
Two employees from Turners Bros. Plumbing arrived at 0900 (as scheduled) and were on-site until the job was completed at 0940. The ballpark price quoted for the job over the phone - the removal of an old garbage disposal and installation of a new garbage disposal, and the installation of a exterior hose bib - was 125$ for the visit plus labor and it was suggested at that time by the Turner Bros. representative that the total cost for the job would likely be about $200.After the actual job was completed I was told by the one employee, Mike, that the realized price for the job was $375. When I questioned this and mentioned the quoted price, noting how drastically far apart the realized price was from the quoted price, the employee simply said that he was only the messenger. When I told him I did not have any checks and would need to get more cash in order to pay I also asked at that time for an itemized bill, indicating that I would not submit payment without some sort of a bill and guarantee that my payment as cash was properly received. He told me that he could come back for the cash and that he would have his office send me a bill within the hour, taking down my email address for the invoice to be sent to. About 45 minutes later I attempted to call the main office for Turner Bros. multiple times, unable to reach anyone. I wanted to verify the price and that an invoice was being sent over.Eventually I was able to speak with the employee whom had completed the job (Mike) and he told me that he spoke with his boss and was able to get the price reduced to 250$. While I told him this would likely be 'ok' I also told him I still wanted to speak directly with his boss at which time he conferenced me in with his boss, Michael Turner. I explained the situation to Michael and he told me that typically they charge $125 as a base visit fee plus $190/hour per worker and that two workers are always sent on a job. This was information not told to us when we originally scheduled the appointment - we were only told the charge would be $125 for the visit 'plus labor’. Michael Turner noted that his other employee Brian 'must have quoted us a different price and the problem is Brian isn't around today’.I questioned why the quote given to us over the telephone wasn't memorialized and how could such drastically different quotes be given by his employees. After further conversation of a similar nature, Michael agreed to settle on the originally quoted price of $200. His employee Mike returned to the house and collected $200 cash as payment in full for the work completed after I was e-mailed an updated copy of the new invoice. The new invoice did not itemize time, labor or standard costs, and did not even include my full first name, but simply stated “Installed homeowners garbage disposal” (we had purchased ahead of time) and “Installed homeowners hose drought” (which we had also purchased ahead of time) with a total of “$200” listed to the right.A response was sent to Michael Turner via the pay2go website from which the invoice was sent indicating the invoice had been paid in full in cash. At the end of our phone conversationMichael informed me that “if we charged these prices there we would be out of business.” As a local business owner myself, I know that if I had a member of my sales staff who was unaware of our base rates and was also radically misquoting customers, I could imagine that our business might not be around for much longer, either. While the workers were amiable and quick to the job, I do not recommend Turner Bros. Plumbing.

Generation Plumbing Company LLC Plumber
I contacted Marc, who was recommended by friend who also had a good experience, when my dishwasher started leaking all over my kitchen floor. On top of that issue, I had a clogged kitchen drain and failing garbage disposal. Marc responded quickly, assessed and explained each issue, then promptly resolved each problem within 2 hours. He is very knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated to resolving each issue. Another minor issue popped up later and he came back the following day to address that issue building a strong relationship with his clients. I highly recommend contacting Marc for any plumbing expertise or problem resolution.

Precision Plus Plumbing Plumber
First off let me say that I never write bad reviews unless truly deserving. As a matter of fact, this is the first one I've every written, however, I thought that this was obscene enough to warrant my time and yours.I am in the process of replacing the deck boards on my deck and while they are taken off and there is easy access to the PVC pipes leading to my outside faucet (which never worked), I figured this is the right time to address it. I immediately could see a break in the PVC piping. I've never done any plumbing before so I started making some phone calls to the local plumbers. I started with Precision Plus Plumbing. I left a message and they immediately called me back saying someone could come out the same day and also do the work. Great, I thought. So I waited for the plumber to get to my house. He arrived on time and was a nice guy. So far, so good. So I showed him the issue and he said, yes you need 2 end caps put on the broken PVC piping. I said OK, how much will that cost. he said $146 for each end cap. You know the little plastic end pieces that cost about 50 cents. I said, WOW that is a lot and he said I don't want to pressure you. You seem like a handy guy, you could probably do it yourself. I wanted it done quickly so I said, just do it so I could continue with my project. So he put the 2 end caps on in 5 minutes! I turned the water on from the inside shutoff and we realized that there were several additional breaks in the PVC piping. He said, let me get you a price for replacing the 15 feet of 1/2 inch PVC piping. He came back with $750!!!! I said, excuse me, did you say $750? He said yes. It's not as easy as you may thing to replace. I said I own my own painting company and that is like 2 days of labor for my company so unless this 15 feet of PVC pipe is going to take a day and a half, forget about doing the job. He said OK, do you want me to take the 2 end caps back off and you can do everything yourself? I said yes!!! Oh, I forgot to mention that there is a $59 fee for them to just come out to the house even if they don't do the project!!So I said to myself, how hard can it be so I setup to the local home depot and bought $50 worth of parts (probably $15 more than what I should have but I bought extra in case I made a mistake). I cam back to the house and within 1 hour had everything replaced. I waited 2 hours and turned the water on from the inside shutoff and shazam, it works. Now it took me, someone who has never done a day of plumbing in his life, $50 and 1 hour of time and this company was going to charge me $750, Plus the end caps that I didn't need anyway. Now I know why they charge the $59 fee. They get to the house and pressure people into doing it, thinking, well I've already spent the $59 and that will go toward the repair. The company then charges a ridiculous rate, hoping to get suckers to say yes and if they say no, at least they made $59 for 5 minutes of being there.Crazy, crazy, crazy!!! Well I will thank Precision Plus Plumbing for allowing me to be so mad that I actually learned how to do some plumbing on my own.

Joseph Giannone Plumbing & Heating® Plumber
I first contacted these guys more than a month ago after a recommendation from a neighbor who had them install a pump. They initially came out in two days and told me the shower head needed to be replaced. I bought several that weekend, tried them all, and the issue did not go away. Called these guys all first thing the next week to tell them. The technician came out again a couple days later and took photos. He told me the cartridge usually takes just one or two days.Nobody called me for several days. So I called them again. The woman I spoke to said they must not have heard back from the supplier but they would contact me as soon as they did.Another week went by and still no phone call from the plumber. So I had to call them back again. This time I was told the photos the technician took were not clear. I immediately walked downstairs, took several photos, emailed them, and asked for confirmation they were okay.Another week went by. Again nobody responded. So I called and left a detailed urgent message with their answering service. The owner and namesake emailed me the next day early in the morning asking if he could come by. I replied within ten minutes despite being before 5am out West where I was traveling, explaining that would not work and asking if they revived the part. Nobody responded. So after 5 days I contacted them again. The woman I spoke to had the owner call me while I was on the line. Joseph explained this is is not how he does business and asked if he could come by today at 6:00am. I asked about a later time and he offered 6:30. Seeing he wouldn’t go much later, and given he seemed apologetic, I reluctantly agreed. We confirmed the 6:30 visit.Joseph also explained the supply house told them were two cartridges, they didn’t know which, and he would show me all the communication. He mentioned they wouldn’t charge me a service fee for the instal - only for the part. It was odd he didn’t tell me the price but I didn’t think anything of it at the time. Another odd thing was that I asked several times how long it would take to get the part and install it if we agreed though Joseph did not give me any answer. So this morning I awoke at 5:00 and was on my stoep from 6:25-7:05. Nobody came by.When I emailed to inquire and express my bewilderment, Joseph responded saying he called me this morning and left a voicemail. My phone has so not disturb on before 8am for obvious reasons so I did not see. I checked and did in fact have a voicemail - but it just asked me to call back. And it’s a moot point because we confirmed the 630 time. Backed by the word of the owner and namesake.I responded to his reply not even fifteen minutes later simply asking for the price of the part. This time Joseph did not respond. After more than a month, the office staff has now not responded at all a few times, responded extremely slowly others, and lied. Now the owner and namesake did not show up.And they haven’t even told me the price for the cartridge now that they heard back from the supply house. While I didn’t know why before, I do now. Just look at other google reviews.Don’t waste your time.
