First Experience:

David did an amazing job fixing our new homes shower panel system. Before he arrived the LED's were no working, temp screen was blank and the hot water pressure was poor as well as the hot water temp. After he left we have LEDs working, temp screen is functional, hot water pressure is strong and temp is HOT! Thank you so much David!

Second Experience:

David once again went above and beyond in helping me set up my whole home water filtration system, with salt-free softener, sediment filter and UV light system. It was done better than I could have imagined. Thank you so much David!

Modern Plumbing has a wonderful staff. I couldn’t be happier! Kim called me right away to schedule the job and get the ball rolling. Then, Tanya followed up with me a couple of times the next morning to get a technician out to our home as soon as possible. And finally, Victor Rodriguez, the technician, came on time as scheduled and took care of everything for us. Victor was great! We assessed the situation together, and he understood right away what was needed. He was very professional, knowledgeable and accommodating, and a very pleasant young man. Tobias was right on time and got right to work. Totally professional and friendly In demeanor as he gave me confidence and explained/answered all my water heater questions pleasantly and thoroughly. I went with the company based on David Kay’s quick response to my inquiry, his unhurried and helpful info he gave me as I made my decision. In less than a day, Tobias was at my house and now I’ve got a new, up to code water heater and feel safer now that my old one is gone. Reasonably-priced service also.

Great place to work

I cannot review them based on their work. All I can review on is my dealings with them.

I tried to find a reputable company to fix my leaky house main pipe for a reasonable amount of money. After reading reviews, I found the owner of Grace Plumbing. I spoke with a gentleman Kevin explained to me in detail how the job could be fixed once I sent him a picture of the damaged pipe through text message.

Kevin told me that he could “probably” fix the job from the inside of the house without breaking my stucco outside and if that was the case the cost for the job would run from 325-375. This is strictly for the broken pipe. However, he promised to fix the stucco if they broke it after I explained my concern over bugs getting into the house if I couldn’t fix the stucco right away.

The next day, he told me he was sending “one of his guys” to fix the job. Since “the guy” was already on his way I just said ok. He also said he sent someone to assess the water damage. His Guy spent about 15 mins looking at the damage and then was on the phone with Kevin talking about what needed to be done. The water damage guy came at the same time and told me that they could bill the insurance but if my deductible is higher than the repair job, then I would be responsible for paying the balance. This worried me so I called Kevin, he said that he really wants to help me because I am a teacher which I thought was very thoughtful, so he said that they have to break the stucco to get to the pipe. He explained that by breaking the stucco and digging out some concrete that the job would cost 425. So I asked, 425 would repair the pipe and fix the stucco right? He said no that would only fix the pipe and digging the concrete. He told me I could bill the insurance for fixing the stucco. I was frustrated because I DIDN’T want a hole on the outside for bugs to get in. He said well if I want his guy to fix the stucco, he would send him to Home Depot to get the things needed to fix the stucco and would charge me additional 175. So now we are up to 575. I explained to him what the water damage guy said and that since this job is now “almost double” what he originally quoted of 375 plus the water damage would cost around 700 I needed to find out from my insurance what my deductible is. If my deductible is 1000 then only 275.00 would be reimbursed.

The conversation turned into a yelling match. Where I was yelled at by Kevin because he sent over someone from across town to fix a job. He yelled that his guy works on commission and that he has been at my house for a while. He said that he was under the impression that a job would be done today and that I agreed to the price he gave me. I explained that I agreed to 325-375 NOT almost double that. He said that he told me that if it could be fixed inside that it was 325-375 but if they have to go outside that it would be 650. WAIT WHAT!!!! How do we go from 325-375, then to 425, then 575, now 650? I exploded, I yell at him, damn straight I did, I said you NEVER TOLD ME 650. That number never left his mouth. He then said to me, we are just going to part ways. I said no problem. And that was the end of that. After about an hour Kevin called me back, and tried to save the sale but after yelling at me and wanting to part ways, how can I feel good about doing business with someone who yelled at me.

The choice to go with them is all on you. Maybe I was unreasonable, maybe 650 is a good deal, maybe they do great work. But if I had been told the whole story of 650 from the BEGINNING I would have cut the call from the BEGINNING. It was HIS water damage guy who explained the details of deductibles to me, I could have had a huge bill that I may not have been able to pay. This could have been avoided right from the beginning had things been handled with my true interest in mind and not at “Just making a sale”

450 fixed the job, stucco, drywall, and pipe, water damage none, by an independant contractor.

This was by far the smoothest process I have experienced with home repair. Plumber, Kevin Holmes, was very professional, personable, & efficient!!! I would highly recommend this gentlemen for any of your plumbing needs. Did a lot of work within a reasonable amount of time ( less than 1 hour). He replaced the garbage disposal and replaced some piping under the kitchen sink. Excellent service!

Brad's guys did an amazing job. I had a leak from an upstairs bathroom to my downstairs. They identified the leak, fixed it and also cleaned up some of the messy piping. They were very professional, clean and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend.

Duane was Very professional and extremely helpful. Great service, highly recommend.

Plumber sent by Associated Piping told me Moen had sent me wrong cartridge for my shower; wanted to charge me $800 to tear up my tile wall and replace the shower valve.

I called Moen support and they said it was the right part, then they talked me through the installation; only took me about 5 minutes to install the new cartridge myself for free.

Be alert, don’t get ripped off by shady plumbers!!!

We noticed our garbage disposal was leaking at around 9:30 this morning. They had a plumber sent to us by 3:30pm and he replaced the garbage disposal quickly and effectively. The replacement seems to have done the job! We appreciate the fast response and excellent communication. We will be using this company in the future!

I used their website to book a repair appointment with a special discount on repair service. I got a confirmation email, and a follow up email asking what the problem was. The following business day I still had no email or phone call in regards to the booking. I called the office and was told they were very busy, and would have to check on availability of a plumbing tech. Several hours later, they have someone, but now there's a problem with the online price. The site is not correct, (big surprise right!). It's going to be more than the price listed online and the email notification. That's without even checking how much work the repair would be. They did go over the pricing finally over the phone with me. I canceled the job. One it was more than I wanted to pay, two if they already changed the price on me once, I'm sure they would change it again after the plumber was here ready to do the repair. Consumer beware, if you want to use them call on the phone and get all the pricing upfront. I have used them before without a problem. I guess it's time to find a new plumbing company.
