The service rep charged the visit fee and apparently left stones unturned, because another contractor was later able to suggest a thorough investigation and find leaks in a short amount of time. Before seeking that second contractor, I tried to see if Nahman could double check the cellar (which the service rep had said he didn’t need to inspect closely on the grounds that his gas sniffer was sensitive enough), but Nahman’s follow-up communication was lacking. The service rep didn’t offer much in terms of recommending next steps except to go find another contractor. Fortunately another contractor found the leaks quickly, but Nahman failed to find them and apparently didn’t look thoroughly enough, wasting time and money.
