Streamline is extremely professional, completely competent, and, most importantly, isn't trying to take advantage of their clients or potential clients.

I recently got 3 bids for the EBMUD/City of Oakland private sewer lateral requirement for my home. The 2 other plumbing companies (with great online reviews) that gave me quotes claimed that replacing the lower sewer lateral was required - which costs an additional $2K in order to dig up the street to the main sewer line. Greg at Streamline told me that the city had replaced the main 20 years ago and that the lower lateral would pass the air pressure test, ensuring that the lower lateral didn't need to be replaced to meet compliance. Sure enough it did pass the air pressure test and didn't need to be replaced - saving me a lot of money.

Moral of the story: Streamline isn't trying to take advantage of a regulatory requirement by swindling home/business owners into doing more than is necessary simply to make more money. They realize that there's plenty of business out there and as long as they do a good job, their business will grow.

I can't believe how good I feel about spending $5,500 on a sewer line that is out of site, but I truly do because I didn't get taken advantage of.
