I went thruough Google services and got a prompt response to set up an appointment for estimate. Gabriel went out to my 66 y/o disabled mothers house and gave and $575 estimate for installing a sink and and $200 estimate for replace the water shut on/off valve. He took a check for a deposit. When I arrived to follow up with my Mom and the technician left no paperwork and when I contacted the company he went back and had submitted a quote for over $900 dollars! I was clear that if they tried to deposit the check I would be all over them. This tech really tried to take advantage of my mother but she had people to take care of her. If you are elderly I would stay away. I don't know if it was just that tech or a company culture but I will never use there plumbing services. And had the sink installed for $200 dollars including parts by another company. Thanks but no thanks Albert Nahmen Plumbing!

Our condo in Lafayette has a hydronic heating system. Regular HVAC companies were not able to help but Big Blue Plumbing specializes in these types of heating systems so we gave them a call. I called the number listed on their page and was directly connected to Gerald (the owner I believe) to schedule a service consultation. I've already had two companies come out before to come out for a hydronic heater that seemingly no-one in the bay had knowledge to service. Over the phone, Gerald went over things that could have gone wrong and provided an in-depth analysis and even agreed to come out without a charge if nothing required work.

He arrived ontime, ready to work with equipment and tools in hand and with a courteous and professional attitude. He spent the next 45 minutes diagnosing the air heater and running me through all the things that could go wrong. In the end, he flushed the system and provided an honest opinion that the air handler was working correctly, just that the water heater temperature had to be raised in order to generate hotter air.

Gerald was honest, knowledgeable and provided possible next steps to improving heating performance. He stayed true to his word and did not bill me as nothing needed immediate replacement. (I still tipped to cover his time and gas). Should something go wrong with my heater in the future, California Plumbing & Radiant Heating will be the first people I call!

Highly recommend them, since they help me with a leaking roof and water damage to my ceiling during the rain storm we've been having lately.

They where abel to temporally patch my roof to stop the slow leak dripping down our kitchen ceiling and remove the water damage drywall in our ceiling.

They had to come back, after the roofer did a permanent fix on roof, to patch up and repair the different areas of where they removed the water damage drywall.
