Josh was was great! Was efficient and professional and did a great job replacing both of our outdoor spigots.

After calling several places to get a quote to replace a leaking garbage disposal, I found Alex.

It was going to be minimum $59 just for them to come out to give a quote. Another plumber was $49 every 15 min, but much higher for the first 15 minutes....that’s over $200 an hour.

I live out of state and my house is a rental, so I really didn’t want to be on the hook with a lot of variables nor inconvenience my tenants to have to meet with multiple plumbers.

Alex was great! Gave a quote right over the phone which is what I had hoped to get and his price was great. Additionally he was professional and reliable. As a long distance landlord, I will be adding Alex at Peterson Plumbing to my contacts for future issues. Thanks Alex!

Bought a house three years ago. The basement remodel failed to install a floor drain in the laundry room. I did some online research about costs and installation procedures.

I contacted a few plumbers including Jake. All the others either didn’t respond or wanted $100 plus to “come and look at it”.

Jakes got back to me quickly and asked for photos of the install area. They got back to me with a ballpark number which was reasonable. I knew that opening a concrete floor often presented surprises. Jake’s crew of 2 worked several hour in a wet clay base we found under the floor. They did a great job and the drain works perfectly. Jake’s charge was a few hundred dollars over the estimate ( Under $2000 total), but well within the cost info I found on line. If I need plumbing, Jakes is my first call.

Awful value and very high rates. Toilet water shut off valve handle replaced for $130. The o-ring was broken off, allowing for water to run into the tank when shut all the way off. Paul replaced just the knob, the piece that holds the o-ring, and a new o-ring.
Paul checked in at 10:45 via text and checked out at 11:15 via text, and I had received that text at 11:10. $70 to show up and $50 per 15 mins, even if they are done before that the 15 mins is up. They also charge you for the time it takes for them to write up an invoice (not worth charging for, since it’s not part of the technical job).
Definitely not worth the value.

Find a better place on google that had more reviews, even better reviews, and is more at the top when you sort by top rated. I had an appointment for later in the day with a company that doesn’t charge for estimates or coming out, then Mike From Norblom called and said they could come right away. My mistake for accepting convenience.

I called and talked to Mike after my appointment to express my concern and his response was that they texted the cost information and then mentioned that a company that doesn’t charge for a estimate charges more to do the job.
I find a company that doesn’t charge for an estimate to be customer centric and not bottom line hungry.

Sort by top rated, then select the second one down. Free estimate. Don’t charge to come to your house. Customer centric. :)

Almost 30 year old system and now the blower fan won’t shut off. He looked through all of the potential causes (twice) and gave me his honest opinion to let the fan run because it would likely outlast whatever will eventually kill the old beast. Very kind, knowledgeable and honest.

John was awesome. I called on a Friday and he was out on the next Thursday. It would have been even quicker but he had the unfortunate circumstance of losing his partner and beloved brother recently. He’s a great guy and is already working with another experienced plumber named Brian. They were courteous, knowledgeable and right on time. He could have plumbed my spigot like the last one but took the time to do it properly and more professionally. John also give me a quote before doing any work, so I knew exactly what the costs were going to be. John also explained what he was doing and why. They also cleaned up any mess that was made and left my basement as clean if not cleaner than they found it. I would not hesitate to call Stillwater Plumbing again when I have a plumbing need. With such a shortage of good plumbers around these days, it’s comforting knowing I can call on John and him and his partner will get the job done. Thank you for a job well done!

Right off the bat when talking to the scheduler/operator I had a feeling this place was not at all professional. When the tech arrived with tools in a bucket I didn't feel any better.

And then the time came for the fix...
The tech didn't have a handle puller to pull my shower faucet handle off. I stupidly agreed to pay a visit fee of $80 on the weekend. I regretted it right away because the tech had no shot to fix the problem, not having the tool to get past step one.

Don't go with this place. Absolutely no reason to pick them over an Eric Nelson Plumbing or Athena or Burnomatic or Uptown Plumbing.

Didn't get the refund I was after either,
A week later (Saturday) I called them to ask for some sort of refund. The person on the other end said it was busy that Easter weekend and told me they'd look into it and call me back on Tuesday. It's now the following Monday and I never got a call. Called them and ranted as politely as I could. He offered me 10% off my next plumbing job with them. Ha.

Called requesting consultation for my mothers home after seeing so many positive reviews. The woman on the phone was very nice - I explained to her it was not urgent and she was kind and set us up for Mon/Tues. My mother called on Monday to ask for a time to ensure she would be there and the gentleman she spoke to said i am too busy to do this today... then proceeded to tell us there was a fee for his time.
Called today to let them know that we would no longer be needed their services due to the rude behavior of this man (we do not need to give our limited resources to people like that) and he initially hung up on me because he thought I took to long to talk, then I called back and he pick up the phone frustrated IS ANYONE THERE?
Get a grip dude...you are way to rude to be picking up the phone.
I'd pass on this place, there are plenty of options in the Twin Cities.

They were able to come within about 2.5 hours of calling and replaced our sump pump within 2 hours. Kurt was very professional and personable. He had texted me when he was on the way and even called to give me a closer time estimate. He went over pricing and options with me upfront, and got right to work. He put on boot covers without hesitation upon arrival and kept things clean throughout. He explained what had been done when he was finished, and gave me some information for moving forward. Overall very happy, and impressed with the responsiveness and job done. Would definitely use them again.

Had my water heater replaced a few months ago. The price was the best amongst the competition and the workers were very polite! laid down mats so they wouldn't dirty the carpet, left our laundry room cleaner then when they arrived! left my wife and i with a plethora of information about how to adjust and maximize our energy savings. overall a great experience and i would recommend them to anyone!
