Best Residential Plumbing Repair in Minneapolis MN

We had just replaced our furnace. The company tied into the main water line for the humidifier using a Shark Bite valve. This valve failed and the pipes separated when we were not home. A phone call quickly had Brad to our rescue. He promptly repaired the faulty part and notified us we may have issues with the water heater because of this.

The next day the furnace company came back and agreed with Brad's assessment that I needed a new water heater. However, the furnace company would not be able to do the replacement until the next day at the earliest. They were not able to get anyone on short notice in the late afternoon. I suggested in seeing if TJK could do it and they agreed.

After a phone call Brad was back to replace the water heater as well. We had hot water by dinner time. Considering how horrible this experience could have been.... TJK Plumbing and Brad made it as painless as possible. Thank you very much. I would highly recommend.

I had two plumbers from bigger plumbing businesses at my house to look at a shower leaking into the basement. Both said the job was likely to trigger a bathroom remodel because there was no way to fix the issue without damaging the insert without damaging the tile without damaging etc etc. Both quoted prices but said I should contact a contractor about a remodel.

I found Alex through Angie's List and sent him pictures of the problem. He said it looked like a hard job, but wasn't sure why the other plumbers recommended a remodel. He showed up on time, worked efficiently and had it done in 2 hours with none of the extra damage the other plumbers predicted. Honest, knowledgeable and hard working.

Jake was super cool and personable, but also very professional. I called Monday afternoon, and he was able to get me in the first thing Tuesday morning (I live in the Dayton's Bluff neighborhood on the East Side of Saint Paul). I was especially into the whole free consultation thing, since many plumbers charge quite a lot just to come out. I also needed a plumber who would do both drain unclogging and drain/faucet repair, and it seems like there are a lot of companies out there that are either/or with that kind of stuff. He unclogged the drain in question (kitchen), replaced the kitchen faucet on a really difficult-to-access sink, and re-plumbed the main drain and dishwasher connection for a very reasonable price. He explained plumbing in a way that made sense, offered to teach me how to do the work myself so that I could know some plumbing basics, and did not try and up-sell me on anything. He was more competent and provided better service than larger plumbing companies that I've worked with, and it was nice to know I was supporting an individual guy versus a big company. I'm a relatively young female homeowner, and was completely comfortable having him in my house and felt that he was being very honest and fair with me. He is definitely someone I will call again and recommend to others.

We recently used Norblom for a bathroom remodel. Steve Morse acted as our contact person for this job and he was always responsive and helpful regarding any of our concerns. The job required 4 different sets of people (plumber, remodeling crew, tile-setter, and glass people). All of the people were professional, did excellent work, and were very friendly to interact with. When we ran into some small problems (as will always happen in this kind of job), Steve made sure that they were taken care of promptly. Great job!!

We hired Steve to replace the piping under our kitchen sink and install a garbage disposal. He was great to work with! The work was done quickly and we got a fair price. I would highly recommend.

Used Kelly plumbing to install a garbage disposal in our kitchen sink. Might have tried to do it myself, but our sink had never had one before. Steven was on time and installed the disposal in about an hour. Would definitely use Kelly Plumbing again in the future.

According to the reviews, excellent service. I would have loved to find out first hand but the person answering the phone was extremely unhelpful and condescending.

Pablo was wonderful! I was so worried I would have to wait for days to get someone over for my main drain. I read a review on the Hamline-Midway FB page and decided to give him a call. He answered immediately and asked if it could wait till tomorrow or if he needed him Right Away. I said I needed help Right Away and he was at my home within 1.5 hours. Very professional, knowledgeable, and a really nice guy!! Thank you for your prompt service...I will definitely tell others about Right Away and will call the next time I need something. Great pricing too!!

They charge you an arm and a leg just to come out. $127 just to come our and gave me wrong einformation. Definitely not recommended

My plumber was awesome! He was on time to replace my bathroom fixtures. He had the items shipped from Pipeline Supply directly to the house the prior day so he started work and was done in no time flat. They have been in the business for years with a solid customer satisfaction rating outside of this Google rating service. They were recommended to me by another happy customer.

This place also goes by the name Ken's Sewer Services.
Right off the bat when talking to the scheduler/operator I had a feeling this place was not at all professional. When the tech arrived with tools in a bucket I didn't feel any better.

And then the time came for the fix...
The tech didn't have a handle puller to pull my shower faucet handle off. I stupidly agreed to pay a visit fee of $80 on the weekend. I regretted it right away because the tech had no shot to fix the problem, not having the tool to get past step one.

Don't go with this place. Absolutely no reason to pick them over an Eric Nelson Plumbing or Athena or Burnomatic or Uptown Plumbing.

Didn't get the refund I was after either,
A week later (Saturday) I called them to ask for some sort of refund. The person on the other end said it was busy that Easter weekend and told me they'd look into it and call me back on Tuesday. It's now the following Monday and I never got a call. Called them and ranted as politely as I could. He offered me 10% off my next plumbing job with them. Ha.
