I had a very positive experience with Peter, the plumber sent out to flush my water heater. He did his job with precision and care plus he was very interesting to talk with while he did the work. He gave me several good tips on maintaining the water heater in the future. I'll request him for future plumbing jobs.

First, I've used and been very happy with Janecky in the past, but had a rather poor experience this past time, notably with the customer service rep in particular.
I had scheduled some work today ten business days prior as their plumbers were booked. I went out of my way to explain the work to be done and was given a three hour window; inconvenient for me but the nature of the business.
An hour and a half in, I called to inquire. I was told the plumber had left me messages on our home phone - mea culpa as I was outside working on other projects and not sitting by the phone ( it was really only one message that asked if I could call him with no pertinent information on timeline)
The rep told me that they would, in fact, be 2.5 hours late. After some consideration, I said I would still have them do the work but wanted to share my disappointment, mainly because I don't believe this would be a job that took less than 30 minutes. The rep took the opportunity to assert that she was correct and my opinion was of no concern to her. I take that as a suggestion to find a different plumber.

I made an appointment 4 days prior. they were supposed to be here in the morning. I call them to see if everything is fine and they said they would be here in an hour. I finally got a call around 3 pm saying that they were not coming anymore. Thankyou for wasting my PTO!

My first interactions with RightMark were positive. Mark took the time to talk us through a whole list of minor issues that were flagged in our home inspection. When he let us know his pricey hourly rate, we pared down our list significantly to the red-flagged items only. By then, however, we'd shown our cards as naive first-time homeowners.

When Mark's plumber arrived, he didn't have the updated pared down list, so we had to pay for the time it took to explain the updated list. When the plumber took off the toilet to change the wax ring, he told us our toilet was beyond repair and asked us whether we wanted to buy a new toilet then and there. We had to take him at his word, and we really had no choice but to say yes because we only have one bathroom and we don't have a car.

We ended up having to pay for the plumber's time to pick up the toilet plus the marked-up price on the toilet plus time to retrieve a different seat because he picked up the wrong one the first time around. We also had to pay for the time it took for the plumber to find out from Mark how much the toilet would cost. Mark was in a meeting when the plumber first called, so we had to pay for the plumber to wait for Mark's response. And the plumber wasn't clear in the quote that he gave for the toilet whether it was for parts or parts and labor. I misunderstood that the quote was for parts and labor.

In the end, to replace the wax ring and the toilet, dispose of the old toilet, and to have one pipe connection manually tightened and one gas pipe capped, we paid a whopping $851.

RightMark doesn't provide a fairly priced service.

They are very thorough and professional with a great price for such a rare commodity. We had so many other companies that would not touch this job not the case for Mr Rooter plumbing. Thank you very much and enjoy the rest of your week. God Bless!!

Matt arrived right on time--literally to the minute, despite snowy roads--was courteous and professional, respected our house, and installed a new faucet and two new shutoff valves much more quickly than I expected he could. Great experience.
