Last week Omer Hamden of O and W Heating and Cooling did a complete installation of a furnace and AC unit at my home. As a bonus, he installed a Honeywell Lyric smart thermostat. Called to have new shut off valve. They quoted me $650 to $700. Said the part was $200 so I guess labor was $200 per hr then tax. The part was actually $168 they said after the fact. Was mad for me asking the breakdown and wouldn’t ask plumber how long the repair would be. I said fine but I would be watching the time cause that’s very unreasonable. Plus I am paying the $65 service fee, does not come out the price. So since I would count the hour while they worked the guy decided they weren’t gonna do the service. The plumber said it was super easy to do and they just tacked on 2 hours so yes I was upset seems like they were trying to scam me. Plumber was nice.
