I had a gas leak on my water heater pipes and Doug fixed. He was very knowledgeable. Also a friendly nice guy.

Water heater express??? What a joke. Here is a line from their web page: For immediate water heater service, 24 hours a day 7 days a week, please contact us directly. Same day service. This is blatantly false advertising. Our water heater started leaking all over our finished basement on Sunday. We called our home warranty company and they told us to contact this business. We looked at their website and it looked very professional. This is an example of a web site that is made to make this company look better then they are. We called and left a message. Now we honestly didn't expect them to just run on over and plop a new water heater in but we did need to know how to stop it from leaking water. Which they say they will do on their website. No calls back. Then finally after a few calls and 4 hours later we get a text. Yes a text. That he is at a family function and can't talk to us but that it would at least be Wednesday before he could get to us. What?? So unprofessional. We called our home warranty company that tried to reach him because once they assign a job to a company they need to hear from them that they can't take it. They finally gave up and got us someone else Monday morning. Their website is a lie. All reviews are very old. Maybe they did have good service once but now I recommend staying away!!!

John was great to work with. He was very quick to respond and get my on his calendar. Very friendly and great service.

Water heater express was great in solving the problem of my sink. They replaced my garbage disposal immediately and dried out the water under the sink and kitchen floor. This little extra step helped prevented mold and water damage from developing. Highly recommend!

My personal recommendation for water heater replacement, maintenance is *Water Heater Express*. The bottom fell out of mine, literally & I was fortunate to be networked with them. ***Professional service,

John came out promptly, assessed the problem, and outlined the solution with me. The price was right and the work was performed to my satisfaction. I will certainly keep Express Plumbing in mind if I have other plumbing needs.

Update, 4/2021: My eleven year old hot water heater was showing signs that it was about to fail. I contacted Water Heater Express and discussed the situation over the phone. I sent John a few photos of my current water heater and he provided me with a quote for a new one. The work was done in a timely manner and with no issues. The new hot water heater is working great, and I would certainly use Water Heater Express again.

Left a message on their answering machine at 8am Friday May 12th 2017. It is now Monday May 15th 1:30pm and no call back. Unprofessional!!

Called first thing on a Wednesday morning because we didn't have any hot water. Turns out I talked with the owner who mentioned he'd get someone out ASAP. I was prepared to wait longer, but he had someone out be early afternoon. The service tech was wonderful, extremely friendly, and fixed our problem. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Terribly unprofessional company with whom I would never attempt to work again. My water heater had a problem while still under warranty, so I called Water Heater Express to ask what to do. Doug advised to get the parts from them and call back; he said that he would put me on the schedule. When I did receive the parts and reached out as he requested, I was informed that not only could I not get on the schedule for that day, but he would get me on the schedule for 3 days after that. By the time Doug finally responded (this required multiple phone calls/texts), the only other plumber I could get to come out quoted a $750 charge (it was a Saturday). Water Heater Express is horribly non-responsive and engages in manipulative business practices which will leave you dealing with your issue for days at a time. Choose another plumber!

Our water heater burst on a Sunday night and we were lucky enough to have called Doug and his company. Friendly, reliable, quick install and happy to answer questions. Would highly recommend them

Doug recently installed a new power vent water heater for us. He was successful expediting the job through an HSA. His work was neat and of high quality. He was very courteous and explained everything. He is our go to guy for future plumbing needs. 5 stars for sure!

Doug from Express Plumbing and Water Heater Express did a fantastic job working with the manufacturer of a faulty part to ensure a timely and satisfactory repair for me. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to thoroughly explain answers to my questions (even for some questions unrelated to the specific repair). Had a rare great experience in dealing with Doug regarding my water heater situation. Im pretty cynical regarding things that I don't know about, but Doug let me know about the water heater I had, what to expect in the future, and the best way to approach it. I have two water heaters that I will deal with in the future and there is no one else I would call.

I hired John and Water Heaters Express to replace my Water heater. Punctual, on time, responsive... and a great job completed! I would HIGHLY recommend John and Water Heaters Express to any of my friends or any one who asked. I trust him and I know that next time I need a Water heater, or any of my friends do, he will be the ONLY one I call.

I left an email Monday night and called on Tuesday and left a message on the customer service voice mail. It is Wednesday and I have yet to hear a reply. Express? I had to go elsewhere so I would still be waiting for hot water.

Doug and his team were awesome to work with! Our hot water tank stopped working and while we had a dual tank system it was not configured to operate independently by the original installer who also did not set-up the shut-off valve correctly. With that said, Doug was able to make it out to our place the same day and was able to do a work-around for us which was great as w/out this we would have not only not had hot water but no water. Doug ordered-up the new tank and then showed up as soon it arrived at his warehouse and set-up the new tank and configured the new system the correct way. He not only went the extra mile but was very thorough as he explained things in detail and he was a super nice gut to work with!! We would recommend Express Plumbing to anyone!!

Could not have asked for a more positive experience. John and his team arrived on time, they were dressed professionally, and spoke & acted professionally. With concerns surrounding COVID19, both gentlemen arrived in masks and made a point of asking if we wished for them to wear them through out the processes of removing and installing the water heater. They were more than happy to answer any questions we had, with a smile, and took the time to make sure we understood the answer. They kept their workspace clean, installed the water heater in a timely fashion, policed their work space, and were gone in a flash. Highly recommend this company.

I don't think over $600 for a thermostat and fixing a frayed wire on the furnace is it good price I would think about 200 bucks is fair I got ripped off

This service specializes in water heaters, so therefore you will get reliable, timely, professional, honest and friendly service. John was stuck dealing with a home warranty situation that was unfavorable to me and his honesty and overall concern for my situation was extremely helpful in the resolution process. The communication was great and this company deserves all 5 stars for simply doing standing up for their customers.

John and Doug were responsive and understanding through the whole process of replacing my water heater and did everything they could to get my hot water back as fast as possible. I will look to them for all plumbing issues going forward.

For anyone that is referred to them via their American Home Shield warranty, please note that AHS doesn't make it an urgent claim (even though leaking water sure seems like an urgent matter) so if you're unlucky like me and the water heater breaks on a weekend, you won't receive service until normal business hours pick up on Monday. Despite AHS dropping the ball, Doug and John were on the phone with me through the weekend helping me troubleshoot the problem enough to use water until they could get in to repair it.

Had our water heater replaced on Monday by John. In and out In a couple hours. Up and running the same day. They install Affordable quality heaters. When it came time to pay they were patient and flexible and willing to try different options to make my credit card work. We will definitely be recommending them to others and using them again in the future.

The service was fantastic. Doug responded right away and was able to come out and identify the issue with our water heater. He ordered the necessary replacement right away so the part would ship ASAP. The replacement part arrived over the weekend and Doug came over immediately to install to get our water heater back up and running. John at Waukesha water Heater Express was very helpful in getting a replacement part for my water heater delivered to my doorstop through the mail...I had reached out after 4 days no hot water and he called the Rheem manufacture site (which is hell to stay online with) and got them to order me a part at NO COST because apparently this is a flaw in my model water heater....Thanks so much John! John Jacobs is a good qualified service provider. Before I called Express Plumbing, I was scammed by a well know service guy in the city of Milwaukee. John told me the truth, upfront about cost and really helped me, he even knew the guy who ran the scam on me. I will trust this company with all my plumbing needs going forward. Water heater express is amazing! Top quality and great customer service you just don't see anymore. They replaced my Water heater installing the new one an only an hour! I will be reccomending them to all my family and friends! And using them for all my plumbing needs going forward!

Woke up to a busted leaking water heater and no hot water on a Thursday morning. Called and left a message here, then proceeded to call a number of other providers. Earliest someone could make it out at others was the following Tuesday or Wednesday, and the prices seemed quite high.

John returned my call within an hour, asked a few questions, was able to tell me what I would need and got here before the afternoon had arrived. He quoted a flat price that beat all the others I contacted, and was the same tank that a few others had mentioned. Very professional and polite.

First call was just after 8 am, tank is in and done, old one removed and all wrapped up by 2:30 pm. I could not be happier and would highly recommend!

Doug at Water Heater Express is a great guy. The process was as smooth as could be. He is professional, knowledgeable, and prompt. I am very happy with how this all went. Since this was through my Home Warranty company I thought I would get a Menards super cheap unit but he installed a very nice water heater. That was a very nice surprise.

John helped us when we were in a real pinch. We had just purchased our first home, and someone had broke in and cut out our copper pipes. We made arrangements with a different plumber who came in for an estimate and was suppose to come in and do the work the following day. The day the work was to be done, he was a no show and then left for a week vacation. We had no water to the house and every plumber was booked out for a couple weeks. Our realtor put in a call to John, and he squeezed us in immediately. John honored the previous plumber's estimate, and did an awesome job! He even installed some extra hook-ups for us to install a shower in the basement. He's trustworthy, professional, efficient, does quality work, and he will now be my go to plumber.

Called Water Heater Express late on a Thursday (after 9:00 PM) about a leaking water heater, John was in our basement by 8:30 AM Friday morning, had a new water heater up and running same day. John was prompt and had great communication regarding arrival times and what products were available and appropriate. Disposal of our broken water heater was included in the quote. Good experience.

I got in touch with Doug from Express Plumbing first through my home warranty company. He was very helpful in trying to repair my tankless water heater and explained what he was doing to try to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, my water heater was beyond repair and a new one would be needed. Another plumber, John, then helped me replace and install a new tankless water heater. Both Doug and John were great at updating me on arrival times via text. Doug would text me updates on the home warranty/insurance side which was helpful, and John was great at texting me quotes for new replacement heaters. After my new water heater was installed, John even walked me through proper upkeep on the tankless water heater since I am a first time homeowner. He showed me what I needed and how to flush it out every year. I felt both Doug and John were honest and practical with me through this process and were flexible with scheduling which I appreciate. They definitely went above and beyond to help with my problem and educate me as well. I know who I will be calling in the future if I have any other plumbing needs.

Doug from express plumbing went out of his way on two occasions to get our hot water heater up and running. When the part he needed was not readily available he spent all afternoon working on getting the correct part. Doug worked well past his normal shift on a Friday night to ensure we had hot water over the weekend. I couldn't be more pleases with the service we received, especially considering it was home warranty claim!
