Best Plumbing Maintenance / Main Valve Replacement in Los Angeles CA

John’s plumbing is amazing. I called them on Sunday afternoon and they had their technician out the next morning at the exact time they said they would be there. Not only do they do plumbing but in my cause they fixed the gas line at my home and replaced my automatic gas shut off valve and the price for parts and labor was more than fair. Thanks to John’s plumbing my hot water has been restored in my home, which my family is very grateful for!:)

There was a leakage in our main pipeline. We thought that this would lead to digging the yard and changing the entire pipeline. I called GR plumbing. They pulled the new water lines through the old water lines. This way it saved us from having to tear up our yard and repair and replace landscaping. They just put a couple of holes to get to the water lines and that's it. And filled the holes back in when they're done and did the clean-up.

We had a leak in a a pipe to our water heater and the company that installed it said they could not respond for a few days. Someone recommended Sunset West so we called them and they were here within a half an hour. Stelios, the plumber who came, fixed the leak quickly and professionally. We had a few more minor plumbing needs and Stelios gladly helped us with all of them and had a great attitude about it. We will definitely use them again.

I contacted them to replace a leaking main and outdoor water shut off. They scheduled an appointment and had everything replaced in time.

Joe was so gung-ho to unclog our toilet, he showed up early. It was too clogged for a snake so rather than pull the toilet (which costs much more) he jumped on the roof and tried unclogging it from there. When that didn't work, he went in through a pipe in the garage and that did the trick. He was so quick and efficient I don't think he was there for even 45 minutes. Thanks Drain Company!

WORST experience with a plumber ever. Did not pull the permit that we told EZ Roth plumbing that we needed for an inspection with the city of Los Angeles. Costing us a lot of money in re inspection fees. After we paid another contractor to pull the permit and 3 months after the furnace was installed EZ Roth plumbing finally pulled a permit because they knew they could not get paid without it and of course at this point it was useless as we already had to pay the other contractor to pull the permit so we could finally pass our inspection. When EZ Roth plumbing installed the furnace it was failing to light because the installer had bentdamaged the pilot light. I had to fix it. Rude and Unprofessional.

It took me a month to realize the sewer sump pump at the back of my property was not working. Not knowing what lurked underground, I needed help fast.

Edwin came to the rescue.

Other plumbers on Yelp indicated they had knowledge of sump pumps. But Edwin was clearly the most knowledgeable when we first talked. It was well worth waiting until the next day when he was available.

Edwin showed up exactly when he said (rare in a contractor), showed me what the issue was, explained what was required to fix it. He also provided me with options to save some money.

It turned out to be a big job. The original sump pump was improperly installed 2' underground with the access pipes over the lid, making it impossible to open up the pump to see inside. Just to see inside took an hour, digging and cutting away the pipes. The pump was filled with roots.

After discussing my options, Edwin returned the next day with a new sump pump. He recommended installing an alarm to prevent the same problem in the future. At first I opted out on the alarm to save money. But later realized he was right; an alarm would help me maintain the new pump instead of replacing it every few years (a much larger expense).

Edwin is very thorough. He explains how everything works in an easy to understand way. He even sent me photos when I was not on site. And he's clean! I didn't have to clean up after him.

It's assuring to find a contractor as honest, friendly and reliable as Edwin. I've started an Edwin To-Do List. I'll be calling him again and I strongly recommend you do to.

STOP LOOKING for a plumber. This is the best plumber I've ever used and I've used a ton of 'em over the years! He is diligent, on time does more then required. He's neat, clean and friendly and here comes the best part.....

Richard and Ramone from Chicago Plumbing helped us out of an emergency sewage system failure and leak. Richard arrived shortly after I called, assessed the situation and immediately got to work. They got us back into operation with a temporary system. Over the next two days, they serviced our ejector system, cleaned the tank, pressure jetted the lines all the way to the street sewer connection. Once cleared, they arranged for an epoxy-fiberglass lining for our line and reconnected the whole system. They were attentive to all details, doing the job as if it was their own home. Before leaving, they tested and adjusted the system twice, sealed up the lid and openings to the tank and swept all the area and steps around the work area. They left it cleaner than it was at their arrival. I highly recommend Richard, Ramone and Chicago Plumbing to anyone needing a professional plumbing job. 5 Stars all the way!
