There was a root problem in the common six-inch line going to the street sewer. We called a local plumber, who cleaned out the roots and proposed a pipe lining solution to prevent further root problems. The pipe lining solution seemed risky and high priced, so we did not pursue that.
We recently became aware of the trench-less sewer line replacement process that uses pipe bursting to pull continuous heavy polyethylene pipe into the space previously occupied by the old pipe. Shortly after that, two of our neighbors hired Greg to replace their side sewers. We got to see Greg perform the pipe-bursting process, and we were impressed by the process and their expertise. The price also seemed very reasonable.
We hired Greg to do our job. For some time I had been worried about how to do it and how much it would cost, but his method seemed like the solution. Our job had some significant challenges that he handled with minimal complication. He quickly solved problems that probably would have stopped people with less experience. During the work, we were without sewer only a few hours at a time, and we always had a temporary connection most of the day and all night. We now have a new side sewer that is better and more durable than the old concrete one. We are completely satisfied with the quality and value of what we received, and we learned a lot. Our experience was very consistent with all of the positive reviews on this site.

5 star service by Justin & his crew! Today Justin himself and Daniel one of his techs saved the day! This review is way past due as this is the 4th I'veused them and every time they have fixed and resolved the issue. Called on Thursday and scheduled for today. Elizabeth their manager is very professional and is on top of their customer service. Originally I called them to snake 2 drains and install a new garbage disposal but after they got there we decided to add a new kitchen faucet & air vent where the water spills out if for some reason it gets backed up. 5 stars hands down! Thx Justin! Way togo! :)

Ac Repair Los Feliz, A-One Heating & Plumbing is the best ac repair service in town! I grew up in this area and when my ac broke, I knew exactly who to call. The technician showed up within an hour of my call and it was just what they said it would be: quick and easy! They also gave me a complimentary maintenance package that should save me a lot of money by the end of summer.

On May 25, 2018 I asked Arie Plumbing (Derfla Corp.) to do 3 simple plumbing tasks: Replace an 80 year old outside faucet that no longer functioned, fix a bathroom sink faucet that was leaking, and replace a toilet flusher that no longer worked properly. Each simple task should have taken about 10 minutes apiece. When the plumber arrived, he started with the outside faucet and immediately broke the pipe leading up to the faucet. Now he had to fix a significant length of pipe as well as the faucet. What would have been a 10 minute task turned into a 90 minute job. Which Arie charged me for, even though it wasn't my fault the pipe broke.
The other 2 tasks actually took about 10 minutes each. However, four days after the bathroom faucet was fixed, it was dripping worse than before. I called Arie and talked to Tiffany and Elena, the manager. I asked them to come back and fix the faucet. They refused to return phone calls or my Emails. After 10 days of no responses from Arie Plumbing, I contacted another plumbing firm to fix the faucet.
All this is to describe Arie Plumbing's competence and when you complain or ask them to fix what they say they have fixed, they ignore you.

BEWARE: My experience absolutely felt like a bait and switch situation. $99 drain cleaning magically became $198 despite the scheduler asking what floor my tenant's unit was on. What kitchen drain in an apartment on the 2nd floor has a clean out? Needless to say, I was very upset with this business tactic and expressed my displeasure with the company to the technician. Since I had waited hours for Mike Diamond's people to show up and my tenant was expecting the problem to be handled, I had little choice but to proceed. Technician seemed to take my displeasure with their policy as a personal insult (which is unprofessional on his behalf in my opinion). I had to basically soothe his ego and say I wasn't annoyed with his company's policy to have him proceed which is highly ironic. After the service I expressed my displeasure with mybexperience on Mike Diamond's contact us web page. It was followed with a harassing number (5 in less than 24 hours) of calls (maybe they were worried I would let other landlords and property owners know of my experience). I finally called back and spoke to their person who handles dissatisfied customers. Rather than handling the problem, he was argumentative and accused me of cursing out the employee. Never happened and I let him know I had two employees resurfacing the balcony who witnessed my conversation with their technician and were both in earshot. He insisted that I had cursed his worker out despite my telling him I had not and that I had witnesses. He said it didn't matter and that he would refund 1/2 my payment to make me happy. I told him at that point him accusing me of something I hadn't done made the refund a moot point and that I would make my experience known on sites like this. Since he was trying to bully and talk over me and refused to let me speak with a supervisor (he said he was the only person that could help me) and then he started laughing at me, I hung up on him. He immediately called back and said he was the only person who could help me and continued to try to talk over me. I told him to keep his $99 as it wasn't worth it to me based on the TERRIBLE CUSTOMER TREATMENT from him, a customer service representative. This is my 1st and last experience with Mike Diamond. My experience was awful and my contact with their representative felt like I was dealing with a thug. There are Bubbas at Mike Diamond.
