The joys of home ownership! On New Years Day we discovered a leak from a burst pipe in our attic. After searching for emergency plumbers I came across John's. They were able to fit us in on Sunday morning, and despite the fact that this was an emergency job during a holiday weekend, their prices were extremely reasonable. I would definitely recommend them and plan to hire them again for a couple of big plumbing jobs we know our house needs but have been dragging our feet on. All told they were professional, courteous and prompt. A+ experience!

Gr plumbing came to my house due to a main sewer stoppage upon arrival i was greeted by Gonzalo and Adrian , they ran there sewer camera up to the stoppage then they ran there sewer snake they were able to clear the stoppage but upon running the camera again they spotted a big root intrusion, they could have easily tried to sell me a whole repipe but they told me that the rest of my pipe was in good shape so they gave me a bid to replace that section I was pleased with the price , next day they were here on time two Vans and plenty of guys by noon they were done I am very pleased with GR plumbing on there professionalism, ethics, and efficiency. Alex replaced 2 ft galvanized pipe with copper pipe with brass attachment in already open ceiling...easy access...he cut the galvanized pipe and took off the elbow and pipe ... reassemble brass and attached the copper pipe which took him 1 1/2 hr?
$ 180.hr plus parts $59.= 335.??

I called to have my drain unclogged and they send me a salesman instead of a Plummer. The guy didn’t want to just run a snake he kept pushing for me to do a hydro cleaning of the pipe. Very disappointed with these people they just want to rip people off

We called in the morning, a person was out to look at it before noon, gave us a very reasonable estimate. We approved the estimate and the plumber was back and fixed the problem by 2:00 pm. Great job.

Richard and Ramone from Chicago Plumbing helped us out of an emergency sewage system failure and leak. Richard arrived shortly after I called, assessed the situation and immediately got to work. They got us back into operation with a temporary system. Over the next two days, they serviced our ejector system, cleaned the tank, pressure jetted the lines all the way to the street sewer connection. Once cleared, they arranged for an epoxy-fiberglass lining for our line and reconnected the whole system. They were attentive to all details, doing the job as if it was their own home. Before leaving, they tested and adjusted the system twice, sealed up the lid and openings to the tank and swept all the area and steps around the work area. They left it cleaner than it was at their arrival. I highly recommend Richard, Ramone and Chicago Plumbing to anyone needing a professional plumbing job. 5 Stars all the way!

BEWARE: They will rip your elderly family off!!!!

My mom called Ford's Plumbing and Heating to check out an old manifold heating system. Long story short, the techs who showed up said that they don't work on manifold heating systems and charged a $99 service call fee for coming out.

To make matters worse, my mom asked them for a quote on a toilet install while they were out there. They must have been licking their chops when they quoted $1660 for a 1-piece toilet and install. Unbelievable! My mom unfortunately paid the $99 service call fee, and I installed the toilet myself for $425 in about 30 minutes.
