I call them to fix a problem on my shower faucet, the water valve was not closing enough to shutdown the water. Removing the cartridge for the replacement, they not only damaged the port valve / stop tube but also moved the complete pipe forward and installed the cartridge backwards, for this service they charge me $580. Then after another visit to fix the problem they caused, we needed to replace the complete Port Valve also accommodate the pipe was displaced from the back wall and want to charge me $900 more only for the labor.

I will never use and recommend this company in Bakersfield to anyone, very poor customer service and professionalism.

KCS came and fixed my deck lighting. They were very professional and courteous. They fixed 3 lights very quickly and cleaned up afterwards. Excellent service and excellent attitude. I highly recommend them.

The guy promised on the phone that he garunteed they would unclog the drain for $85. When the guy got here 2 hours late, then he only tried about 10 minutes with a tiny snake that didn't even have a top on it. It was just a broken thing. And he could not clear the drain and told me 'oh well. Then tells me I still have to pay $87. So I gave him $90 and he tried to drive off without even giving me change. So garbage company would charge . Even tho he did not do anything he still charged me. Don't ever use this company

My bathtub backed up just after the Thanksgiving Holiday, and while I tried various commercial drain openers and a snake, the clog was immovable. Called The Plumbing Doc and set up an appointment for the next morning. They were right on time, and the technician, (A.J.) was patient and professional. A.J. went right to work on the bathtub clog, and within 20 minutes, had the drains running free once again. Great service, reasonable fees, and everything explained.

You name it and over the years they have done it. Always on time, qiuck and efficent. Priced reasonable. they installed water softener, tankless water heater and many more things that I needed done. I call, they come out and evaluate the problem, quote me a price and I have them fix it. its close to having a member of the family you can call on.

The technician called to let us know he would be to our house within and hour and again to let us know he would be there momentarily. He was on time and very friendly. He was able to fix the problem within 20 minutes of arriving. We asked him about another issue we were having at our home and looked at us a gave us all the information that we needed. We were very happy with the service and would absolutely use Hometown in the future.

Mark was awesome! Our water heater went out and we were several weeks in with still no hot water. Mark came to the rescue and made quick work of putting in a new tankless, taking out our old big tank. And his pricing was very reasonable. I will absolutely call him first for all future plumbing needs.

We thought our hot water heater needed to be replaced. Turned out to be a little plastic check valve. Extremely honest and friendly plumber. Would of given more stars if I could have.

Our plumbing in our bathtub was so old, and dripping constantly. I called Do it right Plumbing on a Sunday morning, and they came right out. They did a great job and with the new fixtures, they installed, my bathroom looks great.
