They could come out to take a look at my pressure tank because it was leaking. It wasn’t an immediate emergency but I figured they could come out when they have some time. They said they had someone that they could send between 10AM-12PM same
Day which is fine- I don’t mind waiting all those hours if someone will actually show up.

….but nobody showed up! They didn’t even call or text to explain that they couldn’t make it or to say they needed to reschedule. I was hoping to add them to my Vendor’s list but after my own experience with them- I would never stress out any of my clients with a contractor who doesn’t show up. The difference between how I run my business and how these contractors run their business is that I actually show up when I say I’m going to. I find that it’s not that hard to do what you say you’re going to do if you operate your
Business with integrity and honesty + respect your clients time.

Jason, and the team at “On Time Home Services” are exceptional! My elderly mother’s second bathroom had an Angle Stop burst at 5am, so after containing the flood for her, I asked a neighbor if he knew of a good plumber in town, and boy was he right when he recommended On Time Home Services.

Upon hearing about the problem that my elderly mother was experiencing, Jason immediately readjusted his schedule to fit her in, and was at her house within 15min’s. He then quickly identified the problem and resolved the issue in minutes.

They came and said they fixed the problem when it wasn’t the issue.. just to make money. I never was told they charge $140 just to come to your house. Then the person will try to replace it and offer to replace more items for a discount, just to over charge.Very shady business.

Jason from On Time Plumbing did an excellent job and took time in explaining the different faucetts. He was efficient, polite and made one feel good about the job done. A breakdown of costs relating to the cost of faucett and cost of labour should be separate so one knows what their paying for. However that is standard for the Company and wasnt Jason's fault how its set out. He is a very good plumber. I rate Jason a 5 but the Company 4, they are moderatly expensive.

I called Benjamin Franklin plumbing on 8/28 to make appt for 8/29 as I had a leaking thermostat for my water heater. Rick came out at 8:15 on 8/29 and completed the job (including bringing flex pipe to copper pipe up to code) and was completed at 9:30. Very professional and knowledge. Will definitely use again.

Definitely recommended! My AC went out and while I was able to get the warranty situation situated unfortunately I had to go about a week without AC. This place is awesome while I was going through that and being a little frustrated with the warranty department the owner personally came and brought a little swamp cooler so I can stay in the house! The service was good but way over priced for a simple faucet installation 280. 00 50 dollars to come out and locate problems then 230 for 40 min work . I had the faucet all he had to do was install to much money i won't be using them in the future.

We had a problems with our 3 year old heating system. Randy and team came in, diagnosed and fixed the issue.

Service professional Jason installed a water softener system, installed a drain pan under the water heater, put up to code water heater accessories. He also did successfully diagnosed location of a pipe burst and fixed it too.

Prompt and professional, but issue wasn't completely solved after first attempt (toilet backed up). Plumber got toilet to drain, but on next flush after he left, toilet would not flush again. They sent out a plumber the next day to reach further into the drainage and open the drain.

The plumber from On Time Home Services moved my appointment up due to the severity of the existing water heater leaking. Very professional and down to earth. Highly recommended!

Benjamin Franklin Plumbing sent Rick Granados to repair small gas leaks coming from my water heater. He did the necessary repairs to fix that problem and thoroughly checked all the gas pipes under the house to make sure there weren't any other leaks, at my request. Initially I got great service from this company,I even signed up for the platinum service.The very first time I used them after that was less than great.I had an appt from 12-2.No one called or showed up.I called the office at 2:10 and the person who I talked to apologized and asked for 10 minutes to get me an update/resolution.Well no call back so I called them back at 2:50pm.Office hours closed at 3pm.Not open again until Monday.Not a great way to grow the business.

Jason is a top-notch tradesman. He was punctual, honest and thorough.

Had a leaking copper pipe in attic. Jason prepared me for the possibility of a whole house re-pipe. I had inspected my attic prior and could only find one bad line of pipe. He comes down from attic shaking his head…I can only find one bad pipe. I never see that. I recommend replacing that one pipe and as it is active we replace now. Work done and completed within an hour. In conversation with Jason, could tell he loves his job and respects his boss…to top it off Jason was friendly and kind.

I had a emergency leak. Jason was there in 15 minutes. He repaired my copper line with quality tools & quality service. I highly recommend this company & Jason.

I was first informed by the plumbing technician, Anthony, and the A/C-Heating and cooling technician that they were on their way. They arrived early within the ETA given. Anthony fixed a hose bib outside first, then recognized the problem immediately with the master bathtub's sluggish faucet. He showed me the broken parts and explained what needs to be ordered to complete the job. Anthony left with me feeling confident that the job will be completed above satisfactory. In the meantime, Jorge is on the roof vacuuming and cleaning the two coolers (similar to Master Cools). He needed to leave to pick up a replacement part for one cooler and returned soon after with the needed part. Both coolers are running well and we're ready for the Bakersfield heat. These technicians are knowledgeable and good people.

Blower motor assembly and squirrel cage caked cleaned. Randy disassembled the blower squirrel cage, removed unit to clean and Installed back in unit. Randy was friendly, easy to talk to. I would recommend them.

Water heater maintenance

Jesse and his crew of Jorge and Juan and Dan were great. Jesse went out of his way to ensure my unit was installed properly even though it was at a critical heat level at that point. I’m sure most would have cut corners to get done sooner and get out of the heat faster. All the guys were kind and hard working. I really appreciated their work and professionalism.

Jason was right on time and got straight to business. It took several tries to reach the clog with his 75’ snake, but he accomplished the task in a short time. He was very courteous and personable.

After not get a reply from two other 24/7 Cooling and Heating service companies, I dialed On Time Home service and somebody answered the phone right away, we were able to set up a schedule and the tech arrived on time, the first tech didn't completely diagnose the problem, so the company sent a senior tech over and had the unit completely running, there were no need for parts, so all we charged for was a small service charge.

Writing review on behalf of my 84 year old mom who lives in Bakersfield and experienced On-Time's poor service.
My mom's AC was struggling to meet lower temps, so she called for service. On-Time service rep came out approximately June 13th 2018 and informed my mom that he found nothing wrong and charged her $90 for inspection. Air from the AC unit remained warm, so she had a different company out Tues Jul 10, 2018 and the tech from the alternate company, discovered issues On-Time should have discovered during their diagnostic eval. He did not believe the issues he discovered would show up within a month time frame.

I called On-Time on behalf of my mom and asked if they recorded pressure measurements or other info that prove the tech actually completed the diagnostic tests on her AC; this type of information was not captured. I informed On-Time of the alternative company's findings and asked if they would refund a portion of the fee back to my mom, since she payed for two inspections and they declined.

Very good company, and Jason was fantastic good job and fast.

After being scammed by one company while being in triple digit temperatures with no AC, Can Do had Randy out within the hour and it was fixed within minutes. Run away from On time AC. We are new to the Bakersfield area and were having issues with our AC. We called them out to fix the issue. Well needless to say they were out 5 times in four weeks and could not get the unit running for more than a few days. Every time I called it was a hassle to schedule as they only have two techs that service Bakersfield. I called on a Saturday as this was the fifth time the AC quit working and it was 85 degrees in my house. I was 6-1/2 months pregnant and they couldn’t get anyone to come out until Tuesday afternoon. We had another company come out and fixed the issue quickly. They mentioned we paid for repairs not needed. When I called to complain the manager wasn’t very responsive and wouldn’t refund any of our money except the maintenance plan which we canceled as soon as we found out they couldn’t accommodate schedule or fix issues. Please do not make the same mistake we did. It cost us over $2000 and a lot of hot days and frustration. We did purchase a maintenance plan with the other company and it was cheaper.

Steve was my technician. Although, I didn’t qualify for the financing because I recently closed all my credit cards, he was very professional and friendly. He did a thorough job explaining what was the issue with my AC unit. I look forward to working with them once my credit improves.

A few months ago, we suddenly had a large water leak spot on the ceiling in a spare bedroom. Since it had been raining quite a lot, we assumed a broken roof tile at first, but soon discovered a leak in the copper piping in our attic! We had another HVAC company come out to inspect our system that was struggling to keep up with the current heat. After 2 days and $780 they determined my evaporative coil was leaking. They then indicated that my warranty was not showing in the manufacturer's system. Without the warranty, they quoted me a very large number. I asked Can Do Crew to come out and give me a second opinion/quote. I then went to the manufacturers website and was still able to register our unit. This should have been done by the company who installed these units in this tract in 2016. Randy from 'Can do' arrived, explained what he was going to do and started inspecting the equipment. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He talked me through his actions and then left to put together their quote. The owner, Doug, called me himself to go over the quote. It was basically half of the other quote. He stated that they verified the warranty and this took another $800 off. Randy and Brian professionally installed the replacement today and I am chilling once again! I am absolutely pleased with Can Do Crew Plumbing Heating & AC! I highly recommend!

This team of installers arrived on time. They were friendly, thoughtful, conscientious, and got the job done. Absolute nightmare! I couldn't remove the core of a diverter spout from the copper pipe (it was welded on) so I called the plumber. Carlos arrived, took a pipe wrench, and wrenched so hard that he twisted the copper pipe (very badly) and ruined it. Then he calls me up and tells me that the pipe is twisted so he's going to have to cut the wall open. He DENIED twisting the pipe and lied to the owner about it. Fortunately, I have before and after pictures of the pipe! I also have two witnesses who knew that the pipe was perfectly fine before the plumber got there.

The owner was supposedly going to call me about it, but the secretary said that he talked to the lying technician and took his word for it.

The repair WAS going to be simple and straightforward. Now I will probably have to cut the wall open to replace the ruined pipe. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a plumber, compounded by the fact that the owner seems to be trying to avoid responsibility.

I have pictures, I have witnesses, (including myself) and I have the time and inclination to sue them for damages. I chose these guys because they had great reviews. I am flabbergasted.

P.S. The plumber was also over 10 minutes late. So much for the name On Time Home Services.

Jason did a great job and informed us of potential issues with our Water Softener while there. Would refer On Time Home Services to anyone!

Don't let the positive reviews fool you. This company is under new management. My heater was not working. Steve Todd, one of their HVAC Techs came out. He informed me that there were three different things wrong with my heater and that it would be almost as much to fix then to replace. He quoted me $7800 to replace and said that I was getting a discount for being a return client. He also told me that had I not called him to come out and if I had left my heater running, I could have started a fire in my home. He then suggested I replace my other heater that was working just fine since it was the same age and would likely breakdown soon. I decided to get a second opinion with another company. I am glad that I did. That company fixed my heater for $553 and said that my heater did not need to be replaced. What they fixed was completely different than the three things I was originally told by Steve that were not working.

No experience with Mini split ductless systems. Shoddy work at best. Caused damage by over filling system with refrigerant because of lack in knowledge of Ductless systems. Charged more than double the going rate. Cost me $750.00 for a 2 braze and 3lbs of refrigerant. The over filling caused the system to shut down. Ended up hiring a 21 yr old guy with Mini split experience and he had the system working in 15 minutes. Cost me 150.00 for the service. So if you want a nightmare, hire On Time!

They told me they would give me a free estimate after getting scammed for a service fee by another company. I thought wow that's cool. But then when they came out it was obvious they just wanted to sell me a new unit. The guy spent 10 seconds on the roof and instead of an estimate for repair it was an estimate for a new unit. I bet if it was a home warranty job they would have it repaired and done already. I'm sick and tired of these scam businesses.

Called the Can Do Crew out to replace some ancient shutoff valves under the sink in my guest bathroom and give me an estimate on replacing some toilets. I called on a Friday and they were able to schedule me for the following Monday.

Jason was not only on time, but he showed up early (after the company checked with me to see if it was ok) and ended up finishing the job 8 minutes after the start of the original window they’d given me for the service.

Jason did a fast, clean job in a very tight space and answered the many questions I asked him about what he was working on as well as other issues I thought needed to be addressed down the road.

The technician called ahead to get more information regarding my cooler. He looked into pricing for me for the parts and labor. Unfortunately it was out of our budget. They were very understanding that we would not need them to come out until we saved up a little. Can Do Crew under Doug is not at all the same company as On Time Home Services. His leadership has resulted in a vastly superior experience with top-notch staffing. I am happy I gave them another chance and very grateful to Doug for doing his best to make right the mistakes from his predecessor. I'm looking forward to continued engagement with Can Do Crew!

A little history first: Can Do Crew used to be On Time Home Services (under a different owner). I had less than stellar experiences with On Time and missed the fact that the ownership had changed. I recently was made aware that Can Do Crew was not the same company with a new name, but was in fact a whole new company under a new owner who is customer service focused. This saga is easier to track on Yelp where it is under the same string/account.

I spoke to the new owner, Doug, who promised to make right the numerous issues I had with On Time and got us on their maintenance plan. I called on Monday to schedule some of the service that we were overdue for and found the staff to be incredibly friendly and helpful. Today, both an AC guy (Randy) and plumber (Marcos) came out to replace my AC filters and flush my tankless water heater.

Both showed up on time and were professional and very helpful. I was really impressed with the thoroughness of Marcos. In addition to flushing my water heater, he checked every faucet and spigot on the property to help spot any issues early. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and proactively provided information on what I should look out for as my home ages.

Randy was also really helpful and friendly and went above and beyond to secure the right-sized filters for my home. Including calling to give me a timing update when this search took longer than expected.

What I can say so far is that the experience with Can Do Crew and the folks under Doug's new leadership are a breath of fresh air from my experiences with On Time Home Services under the previous owner.

So far, I am happy I was able to speak with Doug and experience his improved team. I'm looking forward to future experiences with his group and will, of course, provide update as we move forward and I have additional opportunities to work with Can Do Crew.

These guys are the best! They replaced our entire home plumbing in 3 days. They also fixed my sink faucet. They show up when they say they will. They don't try to sell you something you don't need. I highly recommend them!

Jason took care of the piping off my main like a champ. I wanted the work done right and he replaced cheap pvc piping with copper. It looks and works amazing. Thank you Jason for being the expert I could rely on.

Recently when it was 107 degrees, I noticed my A/C stopped working at around 4:30 pm. I called On Time Home Services and Alfonso showed up shortly after 5 pm and replaced the batteries in my thermostat. The A/C came back on and I was a very satisfied customer.

I had purchased an under the sink reverse osmosis system and a new kitchen faucet that needed installation. Wade and Alfonso came out and explained what would need to be done to get the job completed. They were both very professional throughout the installation and fully explained how the RO system will work and how to properly maintain it and answered all my questions without hesitation. I’m very satisfied and will be calling them out again in the future if needed.

Marcos fixed the drain in my kitchen sink. It has been running slow. He fixed the problem. He was friendly and I am very pleased with the job he did.

On Time Home Services is as advertised. On time and on their A game. Their crew was informative and very respectful of our home. The crew was courteous and took the extra steps to complete the job to our satisfaction. We anticipate savings to show immediately with the new units installed. Doug followed up with emails and phone calls to make sure our questions were answered and addressed. I recommend them to all who a looking for heating and cooling services.

I’ll never go anywhere else. Carlos went through extra lengths to confirm where my leak was coming from, and he advised me how to fix the leak with my water provider. He had to dig to find my leak, and at my bequest, he left the hole- but not without putting stakes in the ground and caution tape around it to do our due diligence to notify passers by. 10/10 on quality and service.

I called early afternoon on a Friday when I realized I had no hot water. Marcos came & found my water heater problem ASAP. Same day service! I’m a happy camper!

AC unit has been down, came out here to inspect and couldn't find issue. Two techs mind you. Replaced parts at random, that wasn't the problem. When they ran out of solutions blamed it on a board in electrical panel. Said they would get a quote and order part, haven't heard from them since, so inshort didn't know what they where doing. But they where happy to take $100 for fixing nothing.

Doug was very helpful in answering my questions concerning the AC installation process. They offered portable AC if i needed it. Yesterday I needed a plumber for my grandma . I called your company and they were wonderful!!!! I called at about 11:00 and she said someone would be out there by 2:00. The man called early and asked if he could come by.I was thrilled for him to come a whole hour early! Jason came and beat me to my grandma’s house to start his job. My grandma was nervous, anxious and snappy. I explained the situation to him about her and he completely understood. Jason tried multiple times to try to unclogged the pipe that drains from the washing machine. He tried from the pipe on top of the roof and at the actual spot from the washing machine. He eventually told us he was very very sorry he could not do it. He did not have a small enough snake and he thought we needed to call a drain cleaner company. They would be able to clean it out and might have a small enough tool to be able to do it. He was an amazing man and did an excellent job. I appreciate his honesty and that he knew his limits. He was afraid to try to disconnect the pipe because they were so old and could cause more damage. I wanted to let you know we will be recommending your company. I was flabbergasted by his professionalism and his honesty. And my grandma will be recommending your company to everyone. Please give him a huge pat on the back because I know he felt awful that he could not do the job but I am so glad he was honest and knew his limits. This company is very honest and reliable.

Jason, the repairman, replaced the wax ring in hall bathroom. I asked him several times to run his camera through the exterior clean out valve as both the hall and master bath could not flush solids, only liquids. It had been several days since we had used them, and we had used a pressurized plunger and liquid plummer on them trying to unplug them so when he flushed (water only) the hall toilet he said it was flushing satisfactorily. I was not pleased with his service provided. I asked repeatedly for a more through inspection. Jason did not even look at the toilet in the masterbath! We were charged $209 to replace a wax ring. Nothing was done about the clog in the line. If I was willing to pay for him to check for a clog in the sewer line he should have inspected it. To top it off he was only here 15 minutes.

This Company got it together. Called 6-27-2022 on Friday at 7:30am because my home A.C unit failed. They answered the phone and an hour later 8:30am they were knocking at the door. WOW!! ON A FRIDAY!! 2 servicemen showed up and they both presented themselves very well. After doing all they could to save my unit, it had to go after 25 years. I had a 5-ton A.C unit so I was expecting a huge quote. I was shocked! Not only was the bid fair, but it was also way lower than I expected. I couldn't wait to say yes. They installed a RUUD unit on Monday morning at 8:00am. Unit was installed by 2 other servicemen, and they performed perfect. They spent time with me explaining everything in including the 10-year warranty. We suffered over the weekend with 100 degrees temps. The house reached 90 degrees inside. Pure Hell! Once the unit was installed it was immediate cooling. This Company was just great. Perfect Service!! In today's world good help is so hard to find. For A.C service, this is my go-to Company from now on.

Called them for assistance with a leak to our outside spigot. They responded quickly and had a plumber come out to our house quickly all the while I was informed via email and text messages.

Had them come out and clean the ac ducting which was horrible probably was never cleaned. They did miss our bathroom but I called them and they quickly came back out to take care of it. They have done several services at our house. Very awesome crew of guys they have.

I hired the Can Do Crew to hook up a mini split for me and they were very professional. On the day they came out to give a quote and the day they came to do the work they were right on time. They were also able to fit me in to get the work done the next day after receiving the quote. They were also very fair with their pricing. I would definitely hire them again!

I recently called On Time to do a check on a water heater. They were able to come out the very next day. Wade was the technician who arrived ON TIME, and he checked my water heater which is a few years old and needed a small repair. While he was here, he checked my second water heater which was fine. I also had a toilet that was not filling correctly that he repaired on the same visit. It turns out that chlorine in city water can corrode internal tank parts causing them not to fully function. When I scheduled my appointment, I let them know I wanted the water heaters and toilet checked in one visit so I could take care of everything at once. On Time was having a September special so my repair cost was really reasonable for all three items. I have used On Time before, and I was so happy with the service technicians, telephone staff, and pricing that I made it a point to call them for this repair as well. On Time is my go-to for my central heating as well. I could not be happier with their service. I would have given them a 10, but the star rating system only goes to 5!

I recently replaced my water heater from Can Do Crew plumbing, formerly known as On Time Pro. The initial plumber, Marco, installed the new water heater. He was professional and seemed to do good job. There was no problem or complaint with him. Definitely, the second plumber, Jason, who came was very unprofessional, lack in knowledge of plumbing, not responsive to the customer’s needs, not listening to what customer has to say.

I had to re-contact the company a few days later, after the installation of the new water heater, due to the problem with humming sound, moisture built up on the mirror, as well as being foggy, in the bathroom, without taking a bath or a shower, around 4:30 am. This triggered my suspicion that the new water heater or possible problematic installation might have caused the problem. Initially, this was discussed with the owner and he wasn’t eager to look into the problem from the water heater or the installation but eventually he agreed to send out someone. Jason came and immediately said that there was no problem detected with the water heater or the way being installed. He was very defensive as he was trying to defend his worker or the company. He insisted that the fog or moisture on the mirror was normal. He couldn’t tell what was causing the humming sound, moisture or fog, as he just only focused on defending his worker or the company. He refused to listen to the video or tried to understand. Then, he got frustrated. He refused to find the cause of the issues or give estimate on the problem that he believed. As he said to me to get a second opinion from someone else. When I asked to look into the problem and give me the estimate, since he was there, he basically refused as he excused that he had to leave for another job. I tried to hold of the owner after the contact with Jason and the owner refused to talk to me.

They charged me $1750 for the installation of the new heater. supposedly there is a warranty for 3 years for the labor and 6 years for the water heater. But a few days later their attitude immediately changed. They let me sit on this unknown problem with great anxiety and worries as I just had to deal with the leak and the flooding. Because of the initial impression from Marco, I thought I might consider to switch to Can Do Crew, from my regular plumbing company, because my regular plumbing company is so busy. This thought got immediately changed after the second contact with the company owner and Jason. A plumber from my regular plumbing company immediately identified the problem as soon as he saw the video and checked the bathtub faucet and fixed it. Jason couldn’t even tell what was the problem, supposedly with so many years of experience.

Anthony called me and was able to come earlier than expected. He found the problem with my leaky faucet. The problem was fixed quickly. Anthony was professional and answered my questions. I recommend On Time Home Services.

Technicians arrived on time, were professional and courteous, explained what they were doing and answered all of my questions. I was very pleased.

On time installed an upgraded ac unit for me. They were professional and friendly throughout the process. Kept me informed throughout the process. Irma on dispatch was very helpful...Marcos was right on time and we scoped out the situation and he tried a couple things trying to keep it simple and cost down...but he had to pull the toilet....he reamed out the sewer line out several times till it was unclogged....he showed me how bad my black iron pipes are and we are going to have to take action ...but 4 now we are up and running..bathroom shower and toiled are good...4 now....and with 8 people on the home that's very important...thank u Marcos u really went out of your way to solve our drain issue today...thank u can do...

I highly recommend Jason @ On Time Home Services. Our hot water heater quit on us yesterday. I called several places and nobody could help on a Saturday. The lady @ On Time was extremely helpful and said she couldn't let us go without hot water all weekend. Jason delivered & installed a hot water heater on his day off (Sunday) in about 1 hr. The company owner also showed up to assist Jason. They went above & beyond the call of duty, the service & the price was outstanding. Our garbage disposal was humming and we’ve tried everything we knew how but it didn’t work I called Can do crew and the rate to come out was comparable for this area. They scheduled it for the next day. I liked that they sent emails and texts to let me know it was scheduled and also when they were on their way. What I really appreciated was that the text from the technician had a photo of him ! Very safe
The fix itself literally took a minute because he knew what we didn’t. That said I can’t really say how their normal work is because this was a quick fix but when it comes to responsiveness and being on time and professionalism I give them 5 stars

I’ve been using them since before they re-branded. They are not necessarily the cheapest but they do quality work and that matters more to me in the end (if you’ve ever had shoddy plumbing work you will understand). They are professional, reliable and I haven’t had to have any callbacks from them to date. Recommended for quality professional work at a reasonable price point.

I am not happy at all. We had a faucet that had no hot water. They sent someone out who said that the cartridges were full of rubber pieces and showed us. We were advised to purchase a new faucet, which I did. When I came home he was gone and told my husband that he would return the next afternoon to install the new faucet. He did not call or return so I have no water in my kitchen and no faucet hooked up at all.
