Luke came out to my house the next day and got straight to work diagnosing the problem. He found the issue and was finished up in about an hour! Very straightforward experience from start to finish. Highly recommended.

They were very responsive when I needed prompt help for a backed-up pipe. They gave me a two hour arrival window but called exactly 15 minutes before the start of the window to ask if they could make their way over. When he arrived, he was upfront about what work would be needed and what it would cost to seek my approval before starting. The work was fast, clean and friendly.

I will never call Stan’s Heating, Air and Plumbing again! I called Stan’s to come and look at why the pilot keeps going out on my water heater. The lady on the phone said that there was a $136 service fee for them to come out and diagnose the issue. Two of their technicians checked the water heater for 5 minutes then came to me and said that since the water heater was more than 10 years old it was against their “policy” to do any repairs on it and that the only thing they could do was replace the entire water heater. Why wasn’t I asked about the age of the water heater over the phone instead of wasting my time? I asked him to at least tell me what the issue with the water heater was since I agreed to pay for them to come out and give me a diagnosis. He said, “I can’t do that”. Then he wanted me to pay $136 for the 5 minutes that he spent looking at it. Are you telling me that two seasoned plumbers don’t know what part needs to be replaced for a pilot that keeps going out? It should be a simple fix! I then told him that I needed to speak to his manager and he said, “I can’t let you do that”. Why not? Does the manager not have time to speak with an unhappy customer? I felt cheated and therefore immediately dismissed the technicians without paying them. I told them to have the manager call me and I would pay them over the phone once I got a thorough explanation for the poor business conduct. I’m still waiting for a phone call….

Home Depot referred me to their specialized arrangement with a company that would install an electric tankless water heater and we do a good job. I called them, setting up an appointment, told him where I lived, and after much discussion the lady came back and told me that they do not install tankless water heater’s because they are too much trouble. I then told them that I wanted to have a water heater similar to the one that I currently have. Same size etc. We set up the appointment and I waited four hours for the plumber to come and he gets out of his truck and says, “we don’t work on condos.“ This was after I had told them at least two other times that we were in a condo and they had my address. They should get their act together and they also should not act like they are providing a special service for Home Depot when they simply do not provide that service. They need to be better educated on their arrangement,and so does Home Depot.

I was surprised by how quickly Nathan was able to come out and look at my water heater. He quickly troubleshooted the problem, and had a replacement part on hand! I found the cost for his services to be very reasonable and well worth it. I will be sure to call Nathan first for any issues that come up for my personal residence and rental properties.
