I wish I could give these guys 0 stars. We had horrible customer service from the very beginning, I should have backed out then, but I didn't. Lesson learned.Day 1: They cancel our appointment.Day 2: They show up, try to fix our plumbing. The technician isn't confident that it's fixed, but tells us that if the problem returns to call them back. The problem came back an hour after the tech left.Day 3: We make another appointment. The technician shows up at 8:30pm, 30 minutes after he was supposed to. Tells us it's too late in the day to perform the service we need, and that we will need to make another appointment. We try to, the dispatcher ensuring us we will hear back with an appointment time within an hour. Three hours pass. I try and reach out multiple times to find out whether or not the service can/will be happening the next day. We can't get an answer.So we fire them. The only saving grace was how quickly I got my refund. The manager I spoke to listened to the nightmare we lived through without plumbing for four days, and immediately issued my refund. We ended up hiring Allstate Plumbing and had our plumbing fixed same day.Don't give your time or money to Roto Rooter. Seriously.

0 starsWe sent an email (below) to O&M, got a call from the owner who said that isn’t their policy / procedure and that he stands by his plumbers and their reporting and we got what we paid for so it didn’t matter wether he was correct or not.This is at the exact same time another company is fixing the problem they said did not exist, while telling me a scratch in the PVC pipe from the toilet needed to be jackhammered out to replace. I could see it was just a scratch, and told him I think there is a break under the carport as the pier repair is in line with the clean out, he said no (that was the problem). I’ve worked with many plumbers in Austin, only used this company as referred by the foundation company for testing. Not only will they take days to find the issue, they will not find the issue and cherry on top you will get awful customer service from the owner even when you send him a report verifying everything you’re telling him is true and his plumbers were dead wrong.I’ve had my fair share of bad plumbers from home remodels and Restaurant repairs but these guys take the cake for worst plumbers ever. Run for the hills with O&M!For leaks or hydrostatic testing - Austin Leak & Line found the issue in an hour, extremely professional and got the job done right for less cost then O&M.Hello,I wanted to let you know that your plumbers couldn’t have been more wrong on the foundation report.The good news is we could tell that they did not know what they were doing, and the recommendation to jackhammer the bathroom toilet for a scratch in the pvc was way off base. Luckily I was there to watch them or I would have just gone with that determination.See report attached from company that I immediately contracted for a second opinion, they found the break in the line near the foundation repair (which I hinted to your plumber it would be) in less then an hour.Honestly think you should give me a full refund for money and the amount of my time wasted from plumbers not knowing how to properly use equipment. Y’all need new plumbers stat!I’ll also be letting bats know they should not refer your company to future customers for this test.

We first used Plumb Doctors (then called Plumb Masters) two years ago when the toilet started backing up at our previous house. Joe came out, did a thorough assessment, and found we had root intrusion from a nearby live oak. Joe turned what was looking like a $50K+ problem (tunneling under the slab foundation) into $2K through a creative (and code-compliant) solution. Joe's honesty, professionalism, and skill made him our go-to plumber.When we were looking to buy a new house last year, we had Joe come out to do a thorough inspection. He found that the main sewer line had settled and no longer ran at the right slope, causing sections to be completely flooded. He provided a reasonable quote as well as a video of the issue that we provided to the sellers who agreed to split the cost.We had the work completed last month, and it was completely seamless. Joe and his team came early and stayed late to ensure we weren't without water for any more time than was needed. They were always in close contact so we knew the status of each stage of work as well as the inspection. Andrew also got involved along the way who is also fantastic.Finally, we had Joe and Andrew (of course) replace our water heater a few weeks ago which was also a great experience. They provided a quote in range of other similar shops and had the installation down to a science. In and out.We hope we're at the end of our plumbing needs for a while, but if anything comes up, we know we're in good hands!
